I’ve been a heavy reader and occasional poster on growing for a while now, this is my first post here and first grow :). I’ve experimented with a few things, recently was growing in a greenhouse until yesterday. I feel I need to get more light to them as they’re a bit small? so I’m trialling a spot in the open with more direct sun.
I’m just not sure what I can expect from them

Welcome to the forum! Your plants look good, one thing that may be keeping you from having large plants is growing autos. It’s not that they can’t get big, but most will transition to flower after relatively short veg period.
Welcome to the forum, and enjoy the process. Cannabis requires patience it grows slow at first and then after roots get established it grows faster. That said if you want huge plants grow regular or feminized. Autos are usually short and do business pretty fast.
Maybe you have your phone locked to portrait mode? Can it be switched to landscape, or auto-rotate? Anyway, they look great. Less is more, and patience is key, especially with autos. Welcome to ILGM!
Thanks cannabian! The roots are all so small still, I’m only feeding 300ml between them all. I tried peeling the peat pots off them from when they were seedlings so they don’t just stay wet and it doesn’t inhibit their roots. We’ll see if it helps. Also the two in smaller pots are fem photoperiod so I’m hopeful they’ll grow bigger
I have an issue, my wife is upset by the notification sounds on my phone, yet when I go to apps ilgm doesnt even show up? Howndo I turn audible alerts off for ilgm on my samsung galaxy s10?
It would be in your browser settings…is on my S8+ anyway. If you’re using chrome, it’s under settings>notifications, then if you scroll down past the general notification settings, there are settings for individual sites.
@MissMaconha i have photos and autos at the same time. since i am proficient in neither i want to see how your grow does .great people here to help all of us
Thanks for posting this. I thought I am the only one who grow without light and just rely on outdoor weather. Mine is approx 8 days. Still a long way to go. Did you use any nutrients?
I think there are quite a few who grow outdoors but I find they usually use organic and soil. Maybe in future I’ll do that, but for now I’m using coco with coco chips and Professor’s Nutrients A+B. I also picked up a Hygen flower one and added a little to the last feed. Not sure how they weigh up compared to the Flora trio ones, I was going to get them but the hydroponic store was out.
Hell no outdoor is my thing! Normally i only grow food stuffs indoors over winter, like lettuce, tomatoes and peppers etc. This winter Im adding a pot plant for poops and giggles!
Ive done both germing indoors and planting out and directly sewing into the soil. As for height, not a problem here… noone cares! Wave that flag! The old school plants get strong in the wind and can hot 12 feet. Most of the new school average 6 feet and are seldom an issue. A plant grown in direct sun in a normally breezy place wont likely need support unless its a thai plant, but they cant grow here.
I have a section in the house that the side was made of all glass and the ceiling has a skylight. Do you think it is a good idea to just put it there. Otherwise it will be so obvious (We have drove flying sometimes. I am scared I will get caught if I start building an outdoor tent).
