crazy growing purple train wreck ph out was 6.8 but ppm was 5300😯I guess from the combination of ffof soil and miracle grow I added because of the crazy growing from the bug. It s not showing nite burn yet so we’ll see.

@latewood @Majiktoker @garrigan62 @Donaldj @Hogmaster what does it mean when your ph runoff is getting higher than going in. I watered 4 if them yesterday at 7.0 and 1 came out 7.6 and 1 came out 7.4. Do I just water at 6.0 next time or is that a sign of a problem

have you tested your run off ppm it can signify the absence nutrients in your soil which typically lowers ph or a build up of Calcium in your medium?

This is happening with the leaves on these plants also

I thought it was over or underwaterimg or maybe nitrogen toxicity but I think it was the fans that had air blowing on them hard I’m thinking. I haven’t added any nutes except cal mag I was giving them 7ml a gallon. And I started giving them flower fuel. It’s been like that on my 1st amnesia lemon for 3 wks. I don’t know if the high ph could have something with the clawing leaves.

You need to flush ppm is too high the curling is sign of toxicity flush with 2-3 times volume of pot with straight ph’d water at around 5.8 check run off after each volume when ppm hits around 1200-1500 and ph is closer to 6.3-6.8 stop. The ph raise is result of build up

Calcium Nitrate is most common source of calcium for plant additives Nitrate=N explains the hooking
