Autos-only Using Jacks 321 & 4/2

Anybody have chart or graph of ppm of each nute and when they are used.

Have seen bar graph of minerals/nutes and at what level in pH ranges they are best fed at.

Have read enough to see that ppm vary in flower. Different growers target different ranges.

1000 to 1200 ppm in flower. Seen higher by some.

Like to read on the ppms. Please and thanks

4th grow, watered seedling at 200 ppm with just part B. 15 0 0. No issues, growing autos, if that matters, then shifted full 321, until last 30 days, then 5 12 26, again no issues, best frost ever dialing nutes tailor made so to speak.

This run, by the books. Great run thus far. It is fun playing with the numbers.

@Low I started my seedling off at half strength 4/2 with silica.

Do you start with half? Iv had good results aside from my coco I don’t think was washed well enough… had crazy high runoff and ppm problems with one plant… corrected now after a few small flushes.

Input has been around 550 runoff 600-612.

Hey I’m sure that’ll be fine. The only thing I change throughout the whole cycle is frequency. :call_me_hand:t3:

The plant is the front, chemdog from fastbuds. Was the one effected from the coco, I knew from day one something was off. Did a water to runoff and got 2150 ppm runoff and the ph was high… just what I needed… flushed her a couple times and turned right around… but lost time with that auto… day 20 I think today.

You don’t water daily with seedlings?

What kind of coco? I just hydrate with jacks and run it.

Edit

Every 2-3 days depending on conditions with seedlings for a couple weeks.

Motherearths 70/30

I think going forward I’m gonna get the medium ready a week before. Water to runoff, get ppm and ph in check before I start any seeds.

Which was my plan… this run but I thought I have 10 gallons left and only had 8 lol.

That was supposed to say

Good brand. I’ve tried many different brands of block coco. Haven’t seen anything like that.

Lol.

That’s a good idea, now that you know. Sucks running short! Intend on holding onto it and re using it?

I also use Mother Earths 70/30 with soil outdoors …I know many say NOT to mix coco and soil but Ive had good results so far…Then again Ive never did any run off PH tests… Hmmm maybe if I did test run off and adjust PH or maybe just coco only I have better results…Hmm maybe Ill have to try another experiment ? My very first “legal full term grow” was 5 years ago and at that time I ran across Pot-4-Pot and that’s what they suggested soil on bottom and coco on top…Their kit had brick coco…so for the last few years Ive used brick…Until I came across Mother Earths…I wont go back to soaking and slogging brick again…

It’s usually good stuff, I like to control my ratios in perlite depending on the way I’m running it. So it’s all preference.

Yeah I may try 100% Mothers Earth next outdoor season .I haven’t read up on using pure coco for outdoor yet…Although it seems like for outdoor it may get too dry too fast ???

Not sure how relevant to coco this is, but as far as Jack’s goes I went straight to 1.8 EC as soon as this 1/2 gallon DWC sprouted and it seems to be doing ok so far. This came from a handful of seeds from a stress-hermied auto grow. Stuck it in a cube no-soak just to see what’d happen. Will see how it goes…

I’d imagine it would be troublesome outdoors I wouldn’t do it!

I do plan to reuse it. Haven’t looked to much into it yet. Do you?

:+1: Thats what I was thinking because of the fact I hear a lot of 100% pure Coco users say how often they have to water per day… although " I wouldn’t do it!"…always seemed to get me in trouble… :smirk: Makes me wanna Do It…
