Recently I watched a podcast/interview where autopotamus stated he gives seedlings 2.0 ec and a very high dli from the jump and has had no issues. I understand his water is from gods saliva but is this something worth trying? He mentioned he doesn’t use c02 either. Does anyone have any insight on this? I’m nervous every run in coco and autopots as to not fry the little ladies and 3-400 umol as to not stunt them, but I’m so curious and can’t find an exact ppfd that he uses. Anyone have any info or tried this? HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Like he gives his seedlings 2ec(1000ppm) as drain to waist in preparation to get hook to the reservoir and then from day 1 on the reservoir, it’s filled with nutrient solution at 1000ppm?
If so, that sounds crazy to me but I’ve been wrong before 
I’d imagine the drain to waist could be no issues if it’s done very regularly to keep salt build up down.
But putting them in a constant fed “SIP” with 1000ppm from the start and then complete an entire grow without any issues sounds like magic to me 
I would think salt build up would cause issues after that many weeks. I’d like to see this guys youtube channel.
Even if it’s true and it can be done with no issue, I’m wondering why
Why use so much nutrients that aren’t exactly cheap
I grow alot in autopots, I have o er 30 bases and have produced so nice weight with them over the years.
But I’ve never used ran that kinda ppm, rarely is my reservoir even a full 1000ppm..
Im extremely curious what benefits he gets or if maybe he could get the same results cheaper by useing less nutrients
