Automatic Nutrient Dispenser (Growee)

@Bubbala I like where you’re going with this.

The float thing is pretty common. I have one in my RO system hooked to a 55gal drum, so I always have lots of RO on hand! They get used in the check res bucket in a lot of RDWC systems too. I use it whenever possible, it takes very little gravity. I’ve set a 5 gal fil res on the lid of a 5 gal check res and let it feed that way even. Easy order off Amazon.

This is a bucket RDWC I used to run veggies in, you can see the double stack in the front. Fill res with nothing but nutes on top of the check res. A little work to check pH etc, but just talking automation here…

Nice. I’ve been thinking of wrapping my buckets as well. I’ve found condensation on them a couple of times before when the dehumidifier was full.

Hi Jim,
I just saw the post, I have been using Growee dosing system for 2 years now,
Starter with the pH controller function and then upgraded with more dosers.

I am absolutely happy with the system it paid for itself with the time I saved.

My setup is based on one main res, where the Growee system mixes the feeding solution, and the irrigation pump delivers the feeding solution to the plants every few hours, I have around 10 plants.

I am using liquid nutrients I didn’t have a problem with the shaking but I saw some guys on IG who are using magnetic mixers to mix the bottle.

I did a quick search on Amazon, and added the photo of a magnetic mixer

I also added a photo of the manifold. I wanted to link the YouTube video with the instructions, but it seems like I can’t post links. Just search “Growee loop” on YouTube there’s a guy there who explains how to build it DIY.
