Does anyone have any experience with any of the small (30-50 dollar) automatic micro drip watering systems? From what I gather there are several that handle between 6 to 12 plants. I’d also like to get one that isn’t just relying on battery power.
If anyone has simply rigged there own system I’d love to get a few ideas.
I appreciate your replies in advance.
Growmau5 had a YouTube video on blumats. Otherwise I wouldn’t even know what you were talking about haha. I feel like there’s a member or two around that have purchased stuff like that, but don’t remember who sorry.
I bought the tropfblumats while under the influence of alcohol and they are still in the package. One of these days…
I actually have the Blumat system I use it when I’ll be away from the house for extended periods
It works well but takes some time to dial in
I bought the gravity feed system which can be up graded to acomidate larger grows
You can also fix whatever size storage tank you would need to supply the grow as well
This is the one I bought
Awesome, wasn’t aware of that sorry.
Sorry for what lol
Had I known would’ve tagged you for sure.
Hahaha no worries @dbrn32
I love gadgets so I tend to have stuff
Like any hobby your collection of things builds over time right
I’m still buying toys
Happy growing brother John
I appreciate the info. I’m still a few paychecks away from placing an order for a system.
I have a question, so when I Ph my water the Ph is going to rise back up over the next few hours. So how can you store water in a drip system tank and have the water hold it’s Ph?
You can get it stable but you’ll need to adjust it a few times before it does
My water comes out of the tap at 6.4 normally
To be honest tho I hand water when I’m home and don’t use the drip system unless I’m planning on traveling
I’m with you, I hand water. I actually find it therapeutic. I just wanted to have some kind of system in case life gets a little too busy or if I’m traveling.
My water out of the tap is about 6.8. So if I just keep adjusting the ph it will eventually settle somewhat? I have to mention that since I’ve been on this site I’ve gone from having plants that just hung on to actually watching those sickly looking “weeds” become thriving plants.
@Countryboyjvd1971 I’m planning a week long vacation in the middle of my next grow. How do you keep your pH adjusted when using this system?
