Mephisto is def going to be my next breeder. Thier who ive wanted to try for a long while now and heard of when i first started a few years back. What mephisto strains are you growing? Excited to watch follow up on your gorilla strawberry.

Very cool! I love autos. Be sure not to over water, and apply any training as soon as she appears to be ready. Heavy trimming and training at the wrong time can really stall them out and make for small harvests. Looks great!

Edit/add… That coco looks very dry. Top to bottom it needs to stay moist. It can become aquaphobia and air pockets develop under the surface level. When mine gets dry, I’ll spritz the top layer really good making it a little easier for the coco to rehydrate.

Alright I got carried away lol. I just harvested a 19oz photo so I figured wth I’ll give autos a shot, set up two hydro buckets and planned a Mephisto ghost toof and a 42 fast bud gorilla strawberry. Opened the Mephisto and there was two beans! One sprouted right from the start the other didn’t so I dropped the strawberry gorilla. Well let’s just say they all three sprouted. So I threw the strawberry in coc which I have never grown in either lol. Then I saw everyone’s solo cups and decided to drop a ilgm David banner also lol

Thanks for the advice I did just top water this am and it’s sitting on a wick bottom feeder. I’ve been trying to find when you switch your light setting from seedling to veg with an auto though? I’m running 20/4 but not positive when to switch the lights wave length over to veg

Here is my ilgm David banner autoflower mini bucket sprout. I’m going to attempt a hydroponic set up with her

If you have autos only, you can leave it on 20/4 the entire life cycle(s) of the plant(s). Seed to harvest.

Autoflowers will start flowering on their own timeline. Sometimes they can get a little on the unruly side and be put on a shorter light schedule to try and force them into flower. But other than that, more light the better. Let them ride.

I ain’t got nothin for ya there! I switched from soil to coco 4ish years ago and haven’t looked back! There are plenty of hydro growers here though that have their stuff dialed in real tight.

I planned that but my light has seedling, veg, and flower wavelength settings also it will change the red/blue mixes

Ooooh, gotcha. If you’ve topped, you’re in veg. Most just start with veg if the light has various settings. You can just raise it if the plant starts to act finicky. I thought you meant schedule, not intensity. When you start seeing hairs pop out at the nodes, they’re getting ready to start the stretch and transition to flower. I’d switch it to flower then. My light has intensity adjustment, not wavelength setting, but if I had different modes, that’s the route I’d go with.

Anybody feel free to correct this info if needed

This one’s the VIVOSUN 6450 645w, tied to the app which has a seedling, veg, and flower choice and can also change the intensity from 0-100% she’s sitting at 55% with the seedling setting 32” above reading around 290 ppfd

Not trying to kill them but this is a whole learning/experimental run going full send :joy:

I also started to grow Mephisto. Yesterday chopped Super Orange Haze x 3 Bears OG, next week will chop Hubbabubbahaze.

Then just popped Ripley’s OG, Old School Blues and Manbearalienpig, they are now on day 3…

Before grew exclusively Fastbuds.

You got a pic of the Mephisto day 3? I can’t find a comparison photo to tell if mine are behind or on par

With my Vivosun I switch from seedling to veg spectrum at 2 weeks for autoflowers

I’ll jump out to my grow hut in a bit to take a foto. It’s -27c, have to put on some clothes first.
