Auto Rescue and Rehab

Rescued this Gelato auto from near death. She was parched and her fan leaves were starting to yellow. Brought her home and gave her PH balanced water, worm tea concentrate + GrowBloom. Trimmed some fan leaves. She’s back from the brink I think.

You can see where she’s at cycle-wise (Flowering I think?) This is only my 2nd plant, so I’m clearly a novice. When I give a flower a gentle squeeze, there’s no smell. I can’t remember at what point my Jack Here started to. She clearly has several weeks to go (I think?) Any insight is welcomed. Be well.

That goody good smell of cannabis comes from the terpenes that are in the trichomes, so until you start seeing frosty, sticky, glistening tric’s on the buds, they’ll just smell “green”.

Looks very happy and healthy to me
If you hadn’t told me it had a hard life I’d never guessed it, good job man really :+1:

She’s not to deep into flower as all the pistols apear to still be fresh and white. But she is 100% flowering. Im betting you keep doing whatever you been doing since you got her and she probably give ya some fat nugs, as for smell it should at some point get some kinda smell but sometimes they just aren’t very “loud”, can still be potent but just may not be very frequent :man_shrugging:

others might have different opinions, but it looks like there are dead leaves on top of your soil. was that just during the photo and got cleaned up? i’ve always felt like that invites bugs and other bad things that live on dead plant material.

other than that, the plant looks fine to me. she’s got quite a ways to go before being chopped; more than what i’d typically consider “several.”

nice work on the rescue, keep at it!

Thanks to all! This is why I love this place. One thing I’m actually proud of is I helped the damaged stalk that came from her previous human’s attempt at LST. Was this the right thing to do?. I made a splint for her and it seems to have worked. Glad I acted intuitively. Fingers crossed. Thanks again everybody!

She looks like she is doing amazing Great Job! We will never know who rescued who! Lol best to you and yours growmie.

Careful what you’re squeezing." Mr Whipple".
Congrats on the rescue. Because of prior neglect, she could be a late bloomer.
Some are. The tortuous is slow, but damn at 120 years of age or older, who aint?.
Give her the best and show us the magic she can perform.
Good growing to you.
19 days later, yes, she looks great.
Good Rescue.
“Splint 101” classes could be a pre-requisite for “Bondage 201”
All being useful tools and techniques for growing.
I Tip my hat, you did good x2 or 3, as I read.

Took these pics a couple minutes ago. Anyone have any thoughts on when to choop? I was thinking 2wks given the still mostly white pistils.
