You can see how they’re almost identical sizes from these pictures. One topped, one not topped. I think this is an interesting experiment. There’s too many different opinions. I needed to see for myself.
Isn’t interesting how they change almost hourly, and when that tap root bottoms out they will really go. Patience is a virtue but Im not a Dr. So I don’t have any Patience. LOL
I bought some feminized Do Si Dos seeds. Are they all auto flowers? I kinda hope so. I haven’t grown any cannabis since 1984. I need something relatively simple to grow.
There’s a lot of new growth on my autoflower since I topped it. My question is this:
Should I remove all of this new growth that is clearly shaded so the plant can focus its energy on the top?
The second picture is showing the two new trunks starting to grow on the topped do-si-dos
Both of my Do si dos plants are at about the same stage right now. The topped and un-topped ones both have the third set of true leaves on their way.
The only differences are the topped one is a lot larger and is at that stage with two trunks versus one on the other. Seems like topping an auto may be beneficial if done early enough theoretically, but I’ll wait to see the final results.
need to know how they’re making out!! about to start two more dosi do autos myself… i know what i did wrong with the last two though, one was too much light and the other was messed with too much should have been left alone more
@burnsie44
Hi don’t use the F word here. Especially for no reason and on somebody else’s page. Can that be removed or changed. @moderators ?
Thanks happy gardening!
Edited to remove F bomb.
