Oh my god lol!!! I knew from like the 3rd week she was growing slow. Dont know why but even tho i know im not supposed too, im using miracle grow soil, with miracle grow fertilizer. Veg 24-8-16 now i know thats high nitrogen wise so i only used half the dose. Now that im a week into Flowering her im using a 4-12-4. Plenty of drainage. Ive got 2 led 4 panel and 8 panel lights and 2 reddish/pink bulbs to encourage Flowering

Miracle Grow soil and fert isn’t the best for cannabis but I know a few who use it. It’s got time-released nutrients i it so she’s not getting the proper nutrients at the right time. That could be one reason, the other could be the lights… what light is it exactly?

1 is a 150w 4 panel led light, the other is a 200w 8 panel led light, and ive got 2 reddish/pink clear bulbs

If this is what you have and the T5 tube light, it is not strong enough to grow cannabis. Plus it doesn’t have the correct spectrum.
You need to invest in better lighting. That is the reason they didn’t grow.

I have a clone, and was wondering if it’s possible to also top the branches as well? Does it have the same effect, as doing a center topping? This is my first plant, and I don’t want to kill it lol

Hi,I’m starting my seeds indoors,planning on growing them outdoors.
They will be under nova 300 led light.
Probably won’t be able to plant them out side till May. Zone 3,Nevada high desert.
How many hrs on the grow light?

I set my seeds up with 24 hour light. Not strong lights, but just a single grow bulb like this:
When they get a few sets of real leaves, I upgrade them to a 4-bulb T5 and depending on how they look, I’ll untwist one or two of the bulbs.
Lots of people will have different opinions and they are all valid, for them most part. Just don’t put them under your grow tent lights at first unless the light is really high and you can adjust it down in intensity.
Once I move them to the tent, they go on 18/6 schedule.

Leaves provide food to form flowers. Unless they are blocking air I leave them.
Leaves do not “Take” anything away from the plant. They make the nutrients that makes the plant grow. What you feed the roots are just the components the leaves need to make the actual food.

Started from seed in beginning of October.

Have run lights 24/7 flower and veg light. (I know 24/7 is not recommended, it’s just what it was started on so I wanted to keep it on that in case of shock or premature budding or morphing on me)

when I start to bud should I turn to 12/12 immediately or should I taper it down say 18/6, 16/8, 14/10 then 12/12?

should I trim up the bottoms in order to allow better air flow?

Not sure how much space you have vertically where you’re going but I would flip them now. lol. 12/12. Straight to it. No taper or anything. Right around week 2-3 of flower you’re going to experience “the stretch” where your plants are going to stretch sometimes up to a couple feet in a short time vertically. Here in about 7-10 days from your flip you’ll start seeing little white pistils (hairs) start to form. Once those start to show, start your flowering clock.

Have your stems hardened off yet? Are they still trainable?
You could pluck a few of the bigger leaves just to help airflow. If you have good airflow and not crazy humid you could leave it until like week 3 of flower. Then you could “lollipop” and pluck any leaf pointing in towards the inside of the plant if that makes sense.

Thank you. I’ve got about 3 feet vertically yet for her to grow. It was a seed from a bag I saved. Nice purple stem. Ok. So today is the day. 12/12 it is.

Not so sure it’s gonna be trainable at this point. I did weigh down some of the stems as they grew…since cut the strings off as it was getting to thick inside and I didn’t want to loose the string inside the plant. Started by seed in October.
