Hey guys. I am about a week into preflowering under a 600 W HPS plant was in veg for about a month before pre-flower was initiated due to height restrictions. I see plenty of white hairs coming out of the notes as well as the upper and lower major branches. However well looking and inspecting some of the leaves I noticed one that looked like this. Is this what I think it is or is it something I should worry about? As always thank you for any information regarding this
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in many plants , though many people commonly associate them with cannabis because cannabis plants contain high concentrations of them. These aromatic compounds create the characteristic scent of many plants, such as cannabis, pine, and lavender, as well as fresh orange peel.
Do you mean trichomes?? Possible, but too hard to see.
Yes, those are “stigma” or “trichomes”. Terpenes aren’t visible. They are responsible more for smell and effects. But are inside the calyx. They are what cause the odor of cannabis. What you see are tricomes which is the “resin” that grows out like stigma. This is where your thc/cbd is contained. While terpenes are inside, trichomes are outside.
Whoops. Stomata* not stigma. Mold is a stigma. Trichomes are stomata.
