Take off a calyx and squeeze it open to guarantee that it isn’t seeded. I suspect that they are swollen female calyxes.
I agree I have seen these before. Especially close to finish
Thankyou
Thank for getting back to me. I agree there not seeds. Happy guy here
So as they are drying these are getting harder as it drying
Can no under what happened. No males were in the tent.stand
The advice was to pick some off and open them to see if seeded. Should be as simple as that.
Bud will harden as it dries, just like a leaf in autumn when it falls off the tree, it looses moisture causing cell walks to crack and contract and a more crispy firm feel.
Every plant has the ability to Hermie, it was evolution that inbred this into the whole species before it spread and so we have not one example of a genetic makeup with which to breed out of. I think the best you can do is look for strains that work the best for you with the least stress, I find I don’t get it on plants that grow well and healthy with it becoming more noticeable if I fuck up a bit and pretty much a certain if I grow something real bad with constant stress.
I wouldn’t worry if I had a few seeds, pick them out it will just be normal bud.
Seeds, if you do have them, will be fems, can save them if you desire, congratulations you just bred a new generation.
Or get “confused” (genetic propensity to sustain life) beautiful buds can betray the tent.
Keep up the good growing.
Best wishes for good hang and cure.
Thanks for the response buddy.
In hindsight, I should have pulled any males found in the 2022 grow.
Picking out seeds, is why I got into growing my own.
1970 it was all seeded weed.
1978 California people introduced “Sinsemilla” had no seeds.
So grower I am, now.
Buying good seeds, now and forever.
Trading “my bag seeds” now and forever.
