Preparing to harvest one of my indoor autos this morning, removed leaves that had little to no trichomes. Decided then maybe wait a couple more days to harvest, but i did cut off a sample bud. I noticed what looked like a seed on the underside, and digging through the bud i saw a second one. This is 1st run in new tent. Ive never had a hermie before, did it hermie on me? What now? @OGIncognito

Hopefully there’s just few seeds, I get this occasionally. I’m not sure it Herm’d on you, did you see any nanners or pollen sacs during flower

Roll with it Brother and a handful of seeds isn’t a big deal. Save them, they may produce a solid female or 2

Its funny, we ALLLL find those our first grow and we alllll FREAK OUT. Just a swollen calyx.
Pinch her off. There will be a teeeeny tiny little soft ball on the insude base. Thats like the equivalent of a womans ovary and her egg…i think. Its not a testicle.

Idk why everyone didnt just respond “calyx dude”. Unless you uploaded photos after they responded. Its so obvious my dog yelped “calyx dad!”

Definitely wipe the sweat off your forehead, fall back in the recliner and laugh this one off. Like @OnTheCheap said, we all freaked out seeing these the fist time. The calyxes at the nodes can get huuuuuge, but rest assured, they are just swolen. I mean, unless you pull one and it actually has a seed, then it’s a different story, but you’re looking good here!

@OnTheCheap funny you say that because this is from my first seed purchase of random cheap seed pack, from 420fastbuds . So no idea what the seed is. I just wanted cheap seeds figuring i was gonna lose a few plants relearning. I was assistant grower in colorado for 4-5 years ending after my outdoor harvest in 2017. We had 2 $40k grow rooms, 14 lights, 1 per plant, 59-13 lbs harvest every 5 weeks. I got some dementia from too many concussions from fighting. So my memory sucks. Im having to relearn it all over again, but also i only haveabout a $600 setup now, for personal use, and im doing things a little different than we did at the farm, and im using led panel now instead of those huge lights with 8” air ducts.

I think it was one of my last seeds out of a cheap random seedpack from 420fastbuds. No idea what strains were in that pack.
