Hey GruntâŚI dont understand bud. Why would a big fat calyx need to be of any concern? Im serious im not being a jerk or anything i really dont know, dont understand.
Does a swollen calyx make it more Susceptible to pollination if theres a male or hermie in the tent?
So ive got 4 autos in my tent about 3 weeks from chop, all have big calyxsxs (whats plural of calyx?!). All my plants always get em, dont all of em get em? Im not a pro only been growing a couple years. Little 4x4 tent.

Pluck one and open it Grow Bro, the 2 wispy hairs on the calyx lets you know sheâs a lady

If the plant wasnât a hermie the chances are very positive for that seed to produce a full female plant

I know i know, we allllknowâŚits frustrating. Like allll that love and care, and poof seed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that bud though, zip zero shes gonna smoke the same and youre gonna end up one very stoned man that cant remember where he put the remote control.

@OnTheCheap Iâm actually kind of excited to get just a few seeds, especially if they turn out to be fems. If it looks this good surviving those recent issues, I canât wait to see how it does in my bubble buckets. Drying my test bud now. Harvest soon

Thankfully i have no nanners. Im ready to harvest. Maybe today? Tomorrow? Still watching closely for nanners.
I took a sample bud a few days ago and smoked it yesterday. Good high.

Ive only been growing a couple years im still learning when to chop. Soneone with more experience will chime in

Ive been harvesting buds off that same plant since my original post. Just a few seeds, not many, and no nanners. I just trimmed it for chop. I expect a total around 3 oz. Im happy.
