Are these plants too bushy? What do I do?

I agree, you plants look good to me. I tend to grow bushier plants than many folks but I have decent results.
This is what mine looked like1 week ago:

As @beardless asked, it would be interesting to know what you have done to them so far and what your plans are.

I topped them about two weeks ago
They are white widow
They are photos
They popped on 1/4/22
Only my second grow/first time pruning at all.
I have a trellis net on stand by to apply

The plant on the right in my previous post is also an ILGM White Widow photo. You may notice the similarities.

For sure, thank you guys. Always quick to settle my nerves. I’m trying to get this run as good as possible

Maybe just me. I would take the leaves :leaves: touching the pot anyway. I would also take some from underneath in the middle. To open up some air and make it easier to wate

Thank you sir

You can encourage them to stretch out by reducing the light available to the plant.

@DRsDank

So you would take the big fan leaves that are touching the pot

Ok, I got one of the v2 kind LEDs and you can’t tune this bitch but I thought about raising it some more. It’s already about 36 in off the canopy but I think I will raise it

If they were mine i would do a light defoliation and some lst and maybe fimming

Definitely needs some air flow.
Also what @Aussie_autos said and what size pots are those and are you transplanting again.

In general during early veg I think it is best to leave as much of the leaves as you can. The first set at the very bottom can be removed. They are most likely buried beneath the ones above them and I like to expose the medium. The upper and outer leaves are the most important. They are the light sinks but the other ones add to transpiration (uptake of water and nutrients) which in turn promotes good growth. With that said, some interior and lower leaves and stems can be removed if you need access for LST purposes. It is generally beneficial to open them up for air movement and good health. Where possible / practicable some leaves can be just tucked and moved to the side.
Just to show differences in approach and purpose these are three GDP photos that are 32 days today.

Pruned for a manifold four days ago on 2/2

They will be going into 5 gallon pots today or tomorrow.
