Apple fritter seems harder

Has anyone grown apple fritter? I havent yet flipped my first three but they seem to be a little more finicky than the jack herer strain that im used to. Those are the only two strains that I’ve tried it just seems like theyre not doing as well.

It likely has more to do with phenotype rather than strain. Some strains are more environmentally tolerant than others, but the main differences between the strains is limited to things like cannabinoid content, the terpine profile, and coloration in late flower.

Have any pictures. Wife says apple fritter is excellent. I’m going to do another run of it.

My experience with Apple Fritter photo period is how large it gets even with training. My outside plsnt last year was 9 ft across and 6 ft high. 5 lbs dried and cured. Indoor in a 4x4 tent 600 wat light one plant 3 lbs. They responded well to trimming, but still eat up space. I ordered 20 seeds ILGM that I now regret because of the size they get. However no complaints on the taste or high it is amazing.
I grow hydro and they seem to love pumping the nurients to it up in the 2500 ppm range mid to end flower.
The buds are solid however can be prone to powder mildew, had that start during flower only on leaves never spread to flower. My exhaust fan malfunctioned. So keep a eye on humidity and air flow.

I am not an experienced grower, like many of the folks here, so better input is probably out there but I must agree. I have run a couple of ILGM AF Autos and they seemed to be a bit picky. I grew them in soil and had reasonable buds- a bit airy and not too dense, but good smoke. Great smell- very fruity. I compared them against ILGM Bruce Banner runs and grow wise there really wasn’t much comparison. BB grew much larger, denser buds. Great stuff!! I will try the AF’s again, but have to think things thru a bit first. Good luck and stay safe!!!

I should add the AF’s were grown in a 2x4x6 tent with (2) Spider Farmer 100w LED’s and a 100w burple with additional side lighting.
