I reached out to a couple of seed banks to see if they offer freebies. Ive had some places respond stating that they give freebies with purchase but then its not a freebie to me lol
Has anyone had any luck with reaching out for freebies?

The way i see it is im already saving thousands each year growing my own. Mind as well support the company.

Yeah it does seem rude to ask these companies but intial startup was a lot. I figured they would have like undesirable seeds where they’re just wanting to get rid of.

Most seed banks and or equipment suppliers will normally not give their products away for free unless there was some sort of return. If you can figure out an angle that would be beneficial to them you may have better success Lol Good Luck with your hunt

Lol yeah thats where I was honest with them. I let them know i dont have any sort of following and will be just posting on forums in hopes new growers would be inclined to purchase from them, I need to get better with networking.

Yeah that is true, i even considered saying i would pay for shipping but that would be silly to just not purchase if im doing all that. No one to ask for clones but wouldve been a good idea

If your strapped from your start up, once you are about to flip take a few cuttings and set em a side for the second run… some people try re vegging as well. Think ya can only do that once though.

Seems like photos are superior to autos in every way
I still cleared $200-300 on my first grow including start up costs. Now i save $2,000-3,000 per grow and thats not including the outdoor projects. My
friends think im really generous but they dont know that i just need help getting rid of it lol

Lmao I’m sure it’s a different story in places where growing isn’t frowned upon. I hope communities get formed once it’s allowed because people seem to do local trades or giveaways a lot.

I also live in a small town and its just me and the wife, no kids yet. Things are pretty relaxed around here. It was legal one year ago today in MN. Which is when i started growing

I am with you on this. Every 12 oz plant I grow saves me $1,770.00 at the dispo. Subtract the costs for 4 months of LED lighting, 1-2 bags of soil and $10.00 for water and I am all in on each grow. So $1,500.00 saved 3 times a year is not something to cough at…
