This is kind of a random question but do any of you have experience with growing African strains?
I was curious about climate. From what little info I can find they are pretty durable when it comes to that but I wanted to see if there’s anyone that can clarify?

Hey not me but curious about the challenges also like would the structure be less prone to rot. Or does it more depend on the plants’ defenses.
Here it’s afghans and indicas, in coastal NA, also long way from home. Thinking a stretch-monster would be tougher here but dont they need more time.

So I know the African Sativas are resistant to climate and pests.

Just grew some Durban Poison. Two plants and both grew very differently. Had it not been for a misplaced dehumidifier light I woulda had two fantastic plants to harvest but one hermied on me so it got chopped a little early. The other is going to be chopped within the week though and it’s pretty solid. Fat buds and has grown very well despite the temperature hovering in the low 80’s when lights on.
Smoked some of the hermied plant and though the taste wasn’t as great as it coulda been it still got the job done. Fantastic Sativa high. I bet the one that didn’t Hermie on me will be much better.
