Any Compost Tea experts here?

Hey all -

Brewed a large bucket of compost tea for my new grow although the plants didn’t absorb all, have apx 1/4 left. I usually pour the remaining on the lawn and top the grow medium with the used compost. Instead of doing so, can I add some water to the bucket and put it under the aerator for a week and use the same batch next week?

Will it go bad? Can you brew tea for a week? Is it too close to water with compost tea 1 week later?

My medium is living soil reused - water with plain (uncoordinated) water and feed a compost tea every few weeks. Plants are young, first week of veg.

Any help is appreciated.

It won’t be too long but it will definitely be more of a fungal tea rather than bacterial and some consequences could happen.

“ The fungal-dominated compost tea is best suited for perennial plants including woody plants, shrubs and trees . Fungi don’t like to be disturbed”
