@Myfriendis410, @MidwestGuy I have watered three times since I was instructed to water 2 weeks with 6.0 PH water. The tested PH was 6.26, 6.06 and 6.06 today. Runoff was 7.03 at 2497 PPM. Visually they are looking better. I am now a PH believer, amen. OK to start up with FF flower nutrients next water? They are mid week 13. Will adjust to 6.5 after nutrients are added.
PS the first couple of grows I used collected rain water. These were with 100% well water.
PPM = 2497 is pretty high. I’d just give it pHed water next time and measure PPM again on the next watering. How long ago did you flip to flower?
They are autos but had pistils on day 31. So flowering 57+ days - just over 8 weeks. What are you thinking?
Just wondering about where your NPK ratios might be, but if you are that far into flowering you’ve probably got it about right.
You may be able to get to harvest on what is already in the soil now ( assuming you have a high percentage of soil.)
Let’s ask @Myfriendis410 for his input since you have coco in your media. Coco is a media I’m not familiar with.
What is your soil / coco ratio?
Lets have a fresh set of pictures, if you don’t mind.
I don’t know if this a lot of coco “I fill up tubs with the soil mix to be used. The actual ratio is 1.5 cu ft of FFOF, .5 cu ft of compost, 1 brick of coco and some perlite.” I don’t know if this makes any difference.
I’ll get the camera out tomorrow. Right now I’m working on ordering parts for DIY supplemental lights
@Myfriendis410 @MidwestGuy we are pushing a sunny 50 today so I took the girls outside for there pictures.
#1 has always been a runt
#2 was badly burned by my soil and or nutrients. I cut off many of her buds on 3/4 because I didn’t think they would amount to anything. Uploading: IMG_0017.JPG… Uploading: IMG_0023.JPG… Uploading: IMG_0025.JPG…
#3 I just let her grow. She was growing so tall I put her in a cage in order to bend her
#4 was topped. Strange looking but seems to be doing well enough.
50 is quite cool. Be careful.
Maybe 3 minutes each - took them 1 at a time.
You’ve definitely got more time: at least a couple of weeks IMO. Overall looking good. There’s some def’s but that’s to be expected in late flower.
@Myfriendis410 @MidwestGuy The photos of #2 didn’t upload. I am amazed she is alive after what I put her through. She still looks a little nitrogen sensitive.
She will probably finish in August. Do you think it OK to give them Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom?I am mixing up a new batch and have worm casing and dolomite lime. Question is how much of each to add
Hard to over do worm castings. Your soil mix should cook for a few weeks then slurry test to determine amount of lime.
I had some left over from a batch I put together in the fall. The slurry I ran on it at on 4/1 was 7.01.
Wouldn’t that mean I probably don’t need to add lime?
Unless it is for the calcium and magnesium?
I would still add the lime to buffer your soil. Something like 2 Tablespoons per 5 gallon pot. What would that be: 1/4 cup per cubic foot?
