Amnesia Haze Auto Saga Continues

I have posted before about these AHA under Very Ugly Sisters and before that under Amnesia Haze are Ailing. I am back and trying to get them squared away for there final push. They are mid-week 12.
They are in soil, very limited applications of FF Trio, 2x every other water. Also Cali Magic with plain water. I have not adjusted the PH of the water with or without nutes. And, I believe this is my problem. I didn’t trust my PH pen readings and kept on going. So I re-calibrated it again today and this is what my readings were:
Tap water 7.46
Soil slurry #1 7.32, second slurry test (added more soil let sit 30 minutes, ran through coffee filter) 7.14 (PPM 135)
Slurry of fresh fox farm blend is 7.01
The PH out the last time I gave them Trio was 7.12
These readings are off quite a bit from the desired 6.5+_. Here are some pictures of the damage.
#1

Infamous #2
#3
Lastly, #4
Should I flush again with 6.5 PH adjusted water. Flora Kleen won’t be here until next week.
What about going forward? PH adjust all watering and feedings to 6.5?
Safe to use Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom?
#2 was the star of Very Ugly Sisters. I cut off virtually all of her top growth and buds because she was nute burned so badly. She is surviving but not necessarily thriving More than likely will end up in the freezer waiting for a bubble bath :sunglasses:

I trust your recommendations @MrPeat. Let me have it.

Do you know your PPMs?

My first thought was you are on the home stretch but I see way to many white pistils.
Then the next thought was Cal-mag deficiency.
This is why I keep Sledgehammer in stock now. In case there are issues but you are beyond that from the looks of it.

We need more info via a support ticket. :+1:

@MidwestGuy these are my first and only PPMs. In with Big Bloom, Tiger and Cali Magic was 985.
Out was 2692. This didn’t make sense to me. I thought the reading is supposed to be less.
The PPM of my water 242

Seems like with the in being a little low that you’re PPMs have been much higher than your recent 2692 measurement. Looks like a bit of nute burn, but I’m not convinced that is all that is going on.

More support ticket info will be helpful. While you do that, let’s ask @Myfriendis410 for some help too.

Here’s the standard form:

Can you please fill out a support ticket? Please include what type of water you’re using.

Just water only for a while until plant picks up. Your soil has salts leaching out so going to see high numbers regardless for a while. You’ve got plenty for the plant to feed on so just support it with water and maybe some cal mag for the next couple of weeks. Let it do a reset and then can resume bloom nutes.

Strain; Type, Bag seed, ILGM… name of strain: ILGM Amnesia Haze (order 443960 - Auto Mixpack

Age from Sprout: 81 days

Soil in pots, Hydroponic, or Coco / Brand and type of Soil & Size of Pots: Soil in 3 gallon fabric pots(Smart Pots). soil blend of 3 parts FF Ocean Forest, 1 part organic activated compost (Purple Cow), 1 block of coco (Hydrofarm Coco Coir brick) with Sungo perlite added

How often do you water and how do you determine when to do so? Every 2nd or 3rd day, currently 2 quarts each. Appearance, finger in soil and lift pot.

PH of water and runoff or solution in reservoir: NA

What is strength of nutrient mix? EC, or TDS: I am using FF Trio of Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. Big Bloom and Grow were first applied on day 24 at 50% and again on day 34 at 50%. Tiger was added on day 40. All at recommended doze for week 1 flower. First 2 applications (day 24 and 34)- Big Bloom 1.5 tsp, Grow Big 1.5 tsp / gallon. Last application was day 40 Big Bloom 3.0 tsp, Grow Big 2.0 tsp, Tiger Bloom 2.0 tsp / gallon. I have also used Root Doctor fungicide to treat what I diagnosed to be rust and Cali-Magic (1tsp / gallon) (I guess for good measure / just in case). Root Doctor was first applied as a foliage spay (2 times .5 tsp/gal) with the excess as part of normal watering. The last 2 weekly applications of Plant Dr. were at cure dozes for soil drench (17.5 ml / gallon). I gave them a break for a couple of weeks and flushed them. Started up again on (plants 1&2 only) day 58 with 3 tsp Big Bloom, day 65 3tsp BB and 2 tsp tiger. The last feeding was day 76. same dose to all 4.

Indoor or Outdoor: indoor

Light system, size and height from plants: Tent light Kind XL600 (320W LED)about 22",

Temps; Day, Night: 70 - 75 day and night. 4-5 degrees lower during 4 hr lights off.

Humidity; Day, Night: 45 - 50 day and night.

Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size: Yes 6" MaxFan and carbon filter

AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier: NA none needed this time of year

Co2; Yes, No: No
Soil mix and pots are new out of the bag.
The tent walls, floor, risers and saucers were all cleaned with Tilex mold and mildew spray.
Received one reply regarding #2 (images 36 and 37) saying Nute Burn - needs flushing. It is the smallest of the 4 plants and it may not have tolerated the nutrients.

Myfriendis input was good. Water only. She has plenty to eat for now. Ocean Forest plus compost makes for pretty hot soil.

Cannabis likes wet and dry cycles. Water each time your soil dries almost completely out, and then soak it, let it dry out again, and then soak it again. How many days between waterings will depend on your environment (pot size, humidity, etc…)

Thanks - I have pretty much re. water. The leaves after 3/4 days almost seem wilted and then I afraid I’m stressing them to much.

@Myfriendis410 any idea what the spots are? Cause? To much juice?
Water only using 6.5 PH ? Thanks again

The nute issue you have may be presenting a problem I’m not familiar with re the watering, but I’ve never had any problems letting my soil dry nearly completely between waterings. Those cheap 2-prong meters are worthless for measuring pH, but I do use one to measure the soil moisture level and usually water when the meter says moisture is halfway down in the red.

This is likely the cause of brown spots.

Give it a few days of PH 6.0 water only, every other watering 5 ml cal mag. Do that for two weeks. Also; try to get a runoff number. If you don’t have a TDS meter, now is the time to acquire one.

Yep I got a TDS meter. Got it after our last conversation. They will need water tomorrow. I’ll start adjusting the PH today and will shoot for 6.
Are you a proponent of generally reducing PH during late flower?

I will use one when I’m using 5 gallon pots.

I shoot for 6.5 - 6.6 during flowering to help with P and K uptake.

I suggested 6.0 due to the large percentage of coco in your media.

I didn’t catch that. I stand corrected.

@Myfriendis410 @MidwestGuy I fill up tubs with the soil mix to be used. The actual ratio is 1.5 cu ft of FFOF, .5 cu ft of compost, 1 brick of coco and some perlite. I don’t know if this makes any difference.

Not a bad soil. I would add some worm castings and dolomite lime.
