Am I worried too much

Ok so wasn’t planning on doing this for a couple more weeks but
I dropped 6 ilgm Bruce banner photo period seeds
I put them in water bath Sunday night and into damp paper towel and plastic bag Monday on Tuesday they were all popped and had tails
I placed them in solo cups with damp coco tap root point down
Been misting 2 x a day to keep surface of cup damp and inside there domes
It’s been really cold here but environment in room has remained steady around 76 to 80 depending on when heater comes on been a struggle to keep humidity up holding around 40 rh
I’m new to indoor and haven’t grow in some years but never had a problem before

Been reading about people having trouble with bb seeds

As of this morning nothing (Saturday)
I’m trying to be patient
Any advice?

I’ve never had success doing this. Constantly applying water will make the seed rot! Water the soil, drop the seeds in the soil, then I like to water over them just a little bit more, then wait. Don’t go misting them over and over!

Like @Dankloud said, be careful overwatering. Spraying the inside of the humidity dome is enough for the first week or two. No need for the humidity dome and to spray the soil.

@Borderryan22 congrats on Member of the Month! I’ve been absent for a bit so I had no idea. I even lost my “Regular” status…

Not really misting over and over just pull the domes and spray inside
when top of coco is dry
I think from low humidity and heater in room
I misting the top of coco just a bit
It’s been 4 days just wondering if this is too long

Or maybe I screwed something up
Really tried to the best of my knowledge
Like I said grew outdoor in the past
Living in the Great white north I would germinate seeds and start plants in March (indoor) then move outdoor
Never had a problem
Well at least getting them to grow
It’s the other variables why I decided on an indoor garden

100% honest, there have been some threads lately on difficulties with BB. I think I got lucky, with mine in 3 weeks flower. Dropped 1 seed (1 seed each, 3 different strains) and no issues. All 3 germed and are flowering now. But a lot of growers have had some complaints with the BB.

I guess maybe I’m one
I’ll wait another day or two
And see
I have more seeds(Bruce Banner buy 10 get 10 wondering if this is why they were on sale)
And a batch of gold leaf
I can start more
Just money is kinda tight
(I’m disabled reason for growing )
And that’s $60 some dollars worth of seeds

Hopefully if they don’t pop out ilgm will replace
Although it does state guarantees to germinate
And they did germinate
(All had tails)
Guess we will see

I’ve always popped seeds in promix soil, but it’s definitely not a given all the time, but you had all 6 sprout. I sure would think something would pop up. Maybe depth of seed. I have been using ILGM seeds for some time now, and only had problems with a batch of Purple Haze, I got in touch with customer service, and had new seeds on the way, and all 5 grew. Good luck.

Placed gently in coco with tweezers tail down then lightly sprinkled coco over top may be 1/2 inch domed and placed under light set ar 12 dli

I’m guessing I did something wrong
Because like you said you would think out of 6 sprouts I should have at least a couple that would grow

I just don’t know what I did wrong
Coco is moist not wet only spritz the coco on top if looks to dry one or two spritz very light
Then mist the water bottle dome

Despite the weather outside (-20 this morning ) have held temperatures in upper 70s and cups are on a heating pad
Really not sure what’s going on

Maybe someone else might have a clue so going to tag a couple people that have helped thus far
@PurpNGold74 @MattyBear
Any Idea what I’ve done wrong

I have tried a few different methods and so far this is the best wat that has worked fir me
I’m I using coco coir only nothing added I then soak the coco with a nutrient watering just enough in a solo cup to barely get a run off
I then poke a tiny hole in the center of solo cup with a pencil about a 1/4 inch and then place seed and cover
I use a dome and a heating pad for the first few days in the heating pad and 10-14 days with the dome
I spray inside the dome s bit to add moisture and humidity
I planted Monday by Thursday afternoon all popped.

Good luck and happy growing

I soaked the coco with a very light nutrients solution
Canna coco nutrients only 1/4 teaspoon of a and b for a gallon of water let drain and was moist not wet

It does get a little sketchy after 3-4 days after they have been put in the medium as you described. Sometimes they may take longer to pop if they were planted a little too deep. But usually I see them after a couple of days. You can take a toothpick or pencil tip and carefully scratch off the coco to find the seed to see what is going on. I hope they pop
I use trays with a dome. Seems to work. Although I recently put four sprouts with good tails in coco but only three emerged. Who knows why. I maybe broke a tail off when planting them.

Try putting them in the coco seed down and tail up. The seed will find its way and this helps from the seed coming up with the shell still on. I wouldn’t wait much longer tho. Seeds will usually show themselves after germination within 3 days
