A sealed room would actually be pretty beneficial for me in terms of keeping the light out of my room but I’d also have to not train or just train minimally, as well as get some more automation in the process.
I disagree. Will trade seeds for mead. ![]()
I might consider breaking sobriety for original recipie absinthe. Im a psyconaught at
so trippy booze peaks my interest.
There will be a time I take you up on that good sir lol
Maaaaaan I’ve been wanting to try absinthe so bad. I heard that the OG 4lokos had the basic ingredients that caused absinthe’s effects but I wasn’t there for that.
My wife is trying to strangle it out of me.
Thank you for the care pack g!!! Had to do seed roulette to figure out what to drop and Do-si-dos got the honor, and the Graysin Farms will be next ![]()

Glad it made it safely
What’s up everyone… i am a new Guy to the gardening process. I made my own grow room with 2 mars hydro TS 1000 and the mars hydro 6" inline fan. My 5 auto’s ( fat bananna auto and northern lights auto) grew fantastic in the biginning but since a few days my humidity dropt to about 35%-40%. My plants are 18 days old and i feel like the growth is slowed a lot. The spaces in between the nodes are very small. The temp in the room is around 22 Celcius, and the light cycle is 18/6…
Any toughts? Or am i stressing for nothing?
Thanks.
Welcome to the boards.
Look pretty good for 18 days.
While this isnt bad, 50-60%rh would help them to breath better. Its not something I would scramble to change.
71f isnt bad temp either. A lil warmer wouldnt hurt though. Your lights out temps about the same or cooler?
Perfect for autos from start to finish. What kinda distance are you keeping the light?
Yeah a little. Your environment is good and you wont have any problems with growing in it a lil moister and warmer wouldnt hurt but where you are at wont stop you up either.
A couple. The ts1000 isnt the strongest light by anymeans. Generally considered a single plant light. Veg it will be great but flowering it may leave you wanting more with 4 plants under it. Mostly it will affect your bud density. I only say something so that when you harvest your not caught off guard. You can totally grow under this lamp, I do single autos under mine and have great results. Want to make sure I dont give the wrong impression.
Normal, if you want to stretch it out a bit you can lessen the lights intensity and they will reach for it but I wouldnt change anyghing. Later on around week 4 or so they will do the preflower stretch and it wont seem so compact anymore.
Last comments. Welcome to the forum, this is a great place to be. If you want someones attn tag em like so @Docnraq and they will be alerted to respond. Cant help but hit a pro when you throw a rock in the air around here, so lotsa help. Agression and rudeness are unwelcome here so you dont have to worry about getting jerk replies from people for asking questions. Lotsa love here!
Your plants look very healthy and you are doing great out of the gate.
@Docnraq
Thanks for the quick response… At lights out the temp Drops to around 20 Celcius i do have A small heater in there so i could set a bit higher temp. I also have A bowl of water on the heater to give more humidity. But as i saw before, the higher the heating the dryer the air becomes. Any suggestions for a good(small) humidifier?
The TS 1000 i have 2 of them so Total of ±300 watts full spectrum. The distance at the moment is at ±60cm since i try to keep higher temps without the heating since this dry’s up my air.
I am open to all advice guys thanks a lot.
I am growing in soil btw mixed with prlite and i use the full biocanna nutrition line… Any toughts on the biocanna line or any other recomendations?
Peace ![]()
Also any tips on the Jacks? Like how people usually half dose FF recommendation. And should I stick to feeding every other watering?
Just mix 3.6 grams A, 2.4 grams B, 1.2 grams Epsom salts per gallon of water. I do it every time I water. A first, then Epsom, then B. ![]()
Okay cool thank you g
For sure, I just happened to be up late. Can tell by the Celcius temps we arent in the same country. I will always reply though. Spend alot of time on the boards here, everyday too cuz I gots no life!
Thats a lil high unless you are running the light at 100% which I recommend doing with your light. I run my ts1000 at 100% 30 inches for germ, 24 inches at veg and 15 or so inches at flower. Check this vid for manufacturer suggestions: https://youtu.be/drIepxBE5c8
Many! You want one that will run for at least 24 hours and is easy to adjust vs auto adjusting. Here is the one I use:
If you get an ultrasonic one, you will want to use distilled or RO only. Tap, Spring or drinking will leave a fine white poweder over everything that looks much like powdery white midew.
Same here. I Use two actually. I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest cut with 25% perlite for the top 2/3 of my pot then Fox Farms Strawberry Fields cut with 25% perlite for the bottom 1/3.
Ive not used that brand. Ive been Fox Farms since day one (filling a teenage bucket list)
Id say at least 60% of the forum use Jack’s 321. People seem to love it. Ive been gifted some by a fellow grower so Ill be trying it out on some plants in my current run that I started just a couple weeks ago.
@JordabGrows hope we arent mucking up your thread. @Me4 you are more then welcome to respond in my journal, Im a long winded poster so I made my running thread just for the purpose of preventing thread hijacking.
Did all this make sense?
@Docnraq you are very helpful man. Thanks a lot for the quick advice and i Will keep posting some pictures of how my girls grow…i am reading a lot on the journals and the forums but it’s not easy as a new grower to filter out what to follow and what not… kind regards, me…
This is more about info and general conversation with cool people
My actual grow journal is on Instagram, and I may end up making another on here for my new strains but the more info and peoples pictures on this thread the better!
You are most welcome my friend.
@Docnraq @JordabGrows As said before here some extra foto’s of my ladies…two of my ladies are showing like 5 white hairs close to the stem… Is this signs of flower scycle starting? And looking to these pics would you guys recomend low stress training? Or wait till they stretch a bit? Btw , the temp at the moment is up to like 24 Celcius lights on and 22 lights off… the humidity i was able to push high 40%…also, the small fan you can see in the pic is that enough for the moment cause i have A bigger one if need to upgrade, or use both?
Happy growing guys ![]()
I was trying to see the hairs you were talking about but I can’t myself. But from the sounds of it yes she’s starting to mature.
On the LST I wouldn’t say it’s needed I think it’s just personal preference really. I personally started pinning my branches down around this time just to try and open her up and get light to the smaller leaves. I would however have it where you want it before their flowering stretch bc once they start shooting up the y shoot up quick and it’s easier to manage if you’re already placed where you want to be.
As long as it’s hitting your leaves enough to make them dance without shaking you’re branches then you’re set. It’s not really until flowering you have to focus super hard bc it helps prevent powdery mildew. So I’d definitely have more fans ready for that point.
You’ll be able to get away with 40% but 50% is a bit better if you can manage it. If not, you‘lol still be okay.
Also @Docnraq whats going on with this leaf? It had spots on it that seemed like splash burn, and stayed like that for almost a week no change, and now it’s 3/4 yellow. It’s the only one doing this but it’s also my lowest branch. I’m not sure how much time I have left but when they start fading it’s through the whole plant not just one leaf right? I’ll be pulling her out to feed or water in a bit to check more. Again sorry for poor quality picture.
As well as here’s last nights update
@Me4 agree with @JordabGrows. As for humidity. Its one of the more flexable peramiters. The first couple weeks its important to have a high humidity because the seedling literally drinks from the air. After that its a little less important.
@JordabGrows being as its an old lower leaf seems like the plant cut it loose because of its position. However, you have alot of flowers going on and she may be wanting more p and k. If the yellowing continues up the plant id add a little bit more flower nutes. Contrary wise if your runoff ph is bellow 5.8 its lockout and flushing will be needed. Seems like its just a lower lef thing at a glance. Keep updating.
There was another big leaf that wasn’t the lowest but the lowest on that branch. Just fed so we’ll see how she goes. Also based off of the picture I sent how long you think I got left? Another month or so?
