I lied coach I now have a question lol so you remember me launching my Great White Shark and having to repot right? So I go to do my first feeding and I realize I have roots growing through the bottom of my pot. When I transplanted I only went from a 4” slightly smaller than a solo cup to a 6” which is about double the size in the amount of soil I can put in it. I had put about an inch or two of soil in the bottom, put the plant in and filled the rest. So there was about the same if not a little more room to grow above the root ball as there was below. So my question is if I should go ahead and transplant? Or should I just place my entire container into a transplant hole and bury it?
You can drop that right into soil, as I understand it it isnt ideal (considered extra effort for the plant) but thats what those style pots are made for. I would have gone straight into the bigger pot but there really isnt a wrong answer here. She is stretching out!
Sitting here in hospital (baby scores a 4/8 bc of no movement in 30 minutes so we’re staying overnight to monitor but he was probably just being stubborn so I doubt we have him tomorrow) and scrolling Facebook and came across this picture and thought of the pheno hunt and how well this describes it of course it’s a little different but made me chuckle
nah I think there are realities and cannabis is a traditionally male dominated field. I know @JaneQP and I suffer similar struggles being chemists of sorts. People tend to assume what they see as the norm - same thing as women being nurses. Not saying men can’t be or aren’t, it’s just not the association we have when we hear the word “nurse.”
I don’t think it’s possible. As long as we heed the Golden Rules (no politics and no personal info sharing, I think that’s all that’s off limits), feelings are hard to hurt (permanently). I did upset one forum member once upon a time but if I’m honest I think they and I just had very similar attitudes so we rubbed eachother the wrong way.

Yes everything is fine! He was either being stubborn or sleeping but because he wasn’t moving much they wanted to monitor him for the night to see if it was time to have him but we’re 37 1/2 weeks so they’re trying to wait until Nov. 2nd when we hit 39 weeks for a scheduled c-section. He’s been moving a lot like we expected him to so chances are we’re going home for another week. I’m really hoping for him to have an October birthday because his sister has a Nov. She was actually a 2020 thanksgiving baby lol if we could somehow hit Halloween I’d be chill

I do agree this forum contains a unique view of a different way of interacting and if only the real world embraced the same values of sharing knowledge and respect for other, sometimes opposing, views, we would be much better off as a society that seems to be ruled by avarice now.
My last day, after 30+ years of the feeding the pockets of the corporate world, is Halloween. I will say I met some amazing scientists along the way and I appreciate their continued presence in my life.
Oh so @Graysin and yourself are legit chemists lol when she said that I don’t know if she meant your profession or maybe a specific type of gardening or something that has to have been fun! Or at the very least interesting at times! Science is so cool! Learning the laws of life and manipulating it to do what you want it to.
Jane is a legit chemist. I’m a “fake” chemist - specifically ceramic chemistry - I don’t consider it real because it’s all theoretical, there’s no way to really know what happens at 2200° while stuff is burning out and changing.
I mean to be fair (insert letter Kenny gif that I don’t have) everything is theoretical until one day it isn’t
Just like the earths core. We got all this theoretical information but eventually it’ll be proven lol I still chose to believe there’s the layer we haven’t been able to get past (no clue which one I’m kinda retarded and talking out of my ass ) and then after that layer it’s completely different than what everyone thinks. Chances are everyone is right but I’ma firm believer in you don’t know for sure until you do, just like just because there’s no evidence to support something doesn’t mean that it’s evidence against it. Firstly the baby didn’t come yet so he’s still baking. Secondly, I never got to my little reading experiment I just binge watched Blacklist which if you haven’t watched, 10/10 recommend.
As well as decided to do a little update. My Wedding Cake is putting on some bud mass! Still minor but I’d be lying if I said it’s not a relief I really thought it was going to stay the way it was and be doodoo lol. Here’s all of tonight’s photos.
