Looking for some additional guidance folks.
My first grow. These are White Widow CBD autos.
Just beginning 9th week from seedling. Couldn’t get great pics of the tricomes, but seem to be about 50/50 but no amber.

Lots of white pistils still. You want to wait for the white pistils to turn brown and curl in. I would think you still have 4-5 weeks to go, imo.
I would have to agree with @Brobdab
Reduce your light schedule. They’ll finish faster
Still don’t see the point of autos. You can grow a bigger photoperiod in less time with higher yield and potency with less electricity if you have enough light intensity (most everyone does in 2021) and use nutrients correctly.
Point being. When my photos don’t want to finish. I lower to only 10 hours of light. Bet you’re still doing 18hr on and wondering what’s taking so long.
Disregard checking your trichomes until majority of your pistils are receding.
I have trouble getting a clear shot of the trichomes . When I get ready to do it again is there a certain method you use to look at or photograph them?
Most use a microscope or high quality camera. I can usually tell by taking a quick glance.
I cut off a couple of calyxes and take them back to my desk where I can put a scope on a stable base so a clear pic can be taken.
Thank you everyone for all the help! It is truly appreciated.
