This might be a better place to ask, I posted this on the Virginia post already, first time grower here, have a white widow auto. From this picture, maybe another week to go?
Thanks

Probably a few more weeks. What type of plant (photo or auto) and what strain? How many weeks into flower are you?
All of those white pistils will start to recede and turn brown when its time to start looking closer at the trichomes.
Here’s a great video:
White widow auto, 8 weeks
From when she started flowering, right? Not 8 weeks from seed I assume. You should be getting close if so based on “time” but they will all do their own thing and be ready when they’re ready.
Keep in mind you can “selective harvest” if needed as well. If the main cola is ready first, you’ll be OK to take it off and let the rest finish up.
Great, thank you for the information, answered another question I was thinking about, if cola looked ready and rest of plant didn’t… Thanks again
Wait for those white pistils to brown and recede and then begin measuring trichomes with a portable microscope (these are inexpensive on Amazon) or a jeweler’s loupe.
Here is what you are looking for on your trichomes. Harvest to your personal taste in high.
Thanks, just ordered one of those portable microscopes
OMG adorable
Beautiful pup
