It’s all a personal opinion of when to chop.

That said, mine would be to chop now. My reasoning: it’s a sativa, so amber defeats the point. You’re around peak ripeness when you see the first trichs start to trip. Not the ones on the sugar leaves, but on actual bud.

Edit: Some of the pics look like sugar leaves starting to turn. You have the info above to guide.

So you have clear, cloudy & amber. You can call milky, cloudy or vice versa.

They start Clear - no THC
Cloudy/Milky - THC fully ripe
Amber - THC degrading (turn into other forms of Cannabinoids)

You have lots of amber starting to pop off. That’s an indication that you’re ripe, but only If it’s on the buds. Sugar leaves develop amber on them weeks faster.

You’re tripping over into amber. That’s more than enough to know that you have to be ripe, with a good mix. Some (fewer) clear, (lots) Cloudy & (a few) amber. On a sativa, you’ll have more than enough ambers on the sugars. Landrace Sativa won’t ever amber no matter how long they go. These hybrids, like yours, will put them out.

Stick to this for now. In time (I have decades behind me) you will be able to spot a slight difference to the way cloudy looks. At a certain point, just before tripping, they will develop a milky/hazy/pearly sheen when the light hits them just right. Sometimes, I’ll have to check them every hour to find that sweet spot of perfect ripeness, at the fullest potency possible. It’s easy to miss and it happens very fast. They continue to ripen even after cutting.

Forgot to add, I like to chop the ripe and leave the lowers to ripen up.

This also gives you a chance to let the plant develop earlier or past where you took the prime tops at. That way you can judge what you prefer. It’s especially helpful when growing a new strain for the first time. It helps you find the sweet spot for your next round of clones off it.
