Aeromatic's 4 x 4 Perpetual Grow Journal

Hey Growmies!

As of July, 2025, I am around 5-6 grow journals deep here on ILGM. Most of them have come from my 2 x 4 AC Infinity Tent. Those individual journals have been fun, but I also have a 4 x 4 AC Infinity Tent that acts as a bit of a “perpetual grow” tent, with that often runs both photoperiod and autoflowers, depending on light cycles.

I thoughts it would be fun to start up a page that would represent the tent as a “perpetual” journal, where I would provide updates to all my plants within the tent as they grow and progress as a whole with some specifics as they come up, such as harvest dates, nutrient load outs, cool moments, and the expected troubleshooting issues that I am sure I will need some help with… haha!

My hope is that this will be a living journal that will have plants come and go at different stages within my 4 x 4 tent. I will definitely run some individual journals that will be grown within the 4 x 4, to highlight different strains and techniques, but this will be a fun way to provide large scale pictures and updates.

Here is my 4 x 4 setup:

Tent: AC Infinity 4 x 4

Lights:
Veg: Growers Choice ROI - FV - 350
Flower: Growers Choice ROI - FF - 650

Humidifier: AC Infinity Cloudforge T-3
Vent/Filter: AC Infinity 6-Inch Inline Fan with Carbon Filter Duct Combo
Other Fans: AC Infinity 6-Inch oscillating Fan, random fans I have around/available
Console: AC Infinity 69 Pro

Pots: Usually AC Infinity Cloth Pots (will specify as size as possible)

Main Nutrient Line: Ventana Plant Science (VPS) Retail Nutrient Line + FlaVUH

Amendments: Stash Blend, Xtreme Mykos, Great White Mykor, Tribus, will mention others as I add/adjust.

For the start of my 4 x 4 perpetual journal, I have 8 plants in flower right now: 6 photoperiod and 2 CBD Autoflowers. They are at two completely different stages, but they are all looking pretty wonderful!

For the photoperiod plants, I just switched to 12/12 flowering cycle, so they are starting their stretch after about 2 months of veg. Veg went well with a few issues here and there, but nothing too crazy.

My 6 photoperiod plants consist of two strains. Three are Lemon Tree from Old School Ganja Seeds and three are a strain called Monkeyslapz from an amazing local breeder. I think I got three different phenotypes for Lemontree, they each look completely different! Some are in 3 gallon pots and some are in 2 gallon pots based on what I had available.

In the center frame is Lemon Tree #2, looking like a healthy plant in week 2 of flower, going through a nice stretch! Back right is a Monkeyslapz, nothing wrong with her. The other two Monkeyslapz look exactly the same, but I’ll be sure to grab more pictures of them for the next update.

Here you can see Lemon Tree 1 and 3. The center Lemon Tree is weird! The leaves are small and sort of “crunched”, not in terms of texture but in size and stature. I hope she will stretch out of it, but it will be interesting to compare the three!

Lemon Tree #3 is stretching big time! She is the tallest in the tent and looks pure Sativa.

Finally, I have two Auto Magik CBD plants from Trilogene Seeds. I have grown a few CBD seeds from them before, mainly Auto Glu, but these are performing well beyond those previous experiences! These look like two different phenos as well (one tall and lenky and one short and looking like a hybrid). These are in week 5 of flowering and looking great! I am using 50% strength Ventana Plant Science nutrients and will be delivering a dose of 1 tsp/gallon of Stash Blend for their next water.

I am excited to see how these finish up! I had to move them from my 2 x 4, which was at 20/4 cycle, to this 12/12 tent, and their response has been better than I would have thought.

I’ll be updating this journal more frequently and with less density than a once a week update since it will be more picture based than deep strategy, but let’s have some fun with it!

Let me know what cool things you’d like to see moving forward! Maybe some comparison grows with same strains and different mediums/strategies/LST /HST/Topping… anything! I am open to playing around with fun recommendations and I have a solid seed bank to play around with haha.

Can’t wait to hear from you all!

Thank you! It’s nice to have some good momentum with these given some issues with my autos in my 2 x 4 haha. Autos can be so finicky!

haha thank you! Air intake by whatever means possible. Although now that I think about it, I should shove the non-oscillating one in there.

That looks gorgeous!
Something about the natural growth pattern of our crop is so lovely to me.

Do you like to transplant or germinate in final container?

I like to transplant for my photos and plant is final containers for my autos, but recently, due to space, I tried some new techniques.

For these 6 photos, I went from Organiplugs to Pint to 1 Gallon to their final 2/3 three gallon pots. Each transplant step went well and roots looked very healthy with the Extreme Mykos sprikle over the planting area and on roots.

For my recent CBD autos, I didn’t have room to directly plant into their final container, so I went against traditional wisdom and went from Organiplug to Pint to final pots, in this case, 2 gallons. I actually saw some strong growth and not too much shock! The advantage of this method is I was able to to the sprinkle of Xtreme Mykos during transplant, whereas I would be unable to do so with straight to final pot planting.

I was sure to be extra careful, and I am sure it depends on genetics, but I am definitely going to try it again for my next germination!

Leaves are praying!

Did a big water yesterday on day 14 of flower for my photoperiods. They got around 4 liters each, producing around 500 ml of runoff and each plant came in really high in PPM (2000 PPM). Going in was only 600, so I think this could have been some flushing solids coming out from the soil. I haven’t flushed them yet, so I think this was a good time for a bit of excess.

I plan on letting them dry back big time and eating as much as they can with my next water being a simple CalMag (Ventana Plant Science Support 2.5 ml/gallon) + distilled water. The PPM on that comes out around 200-250 and I’ll measure runoff to see how she is eating.

They are loving life!

My 2 Auto Magik CBDs are looking nice and healthy as well, maybe a touch of nutrient burn. I am going to hit them with a 1.5 - 2 gallon flush for the next water, their runoff came in a but high after my last water as well. Crazy different phenos! Great size for 2 gallon pots!

I tossed in 3 CBD autos (they could be Auto Glu or Auto Magik from Trilogene, I forgot to label them haha)! I don’t expect much from these. I mainly wanted to try a new technique of using Organiplugs and transferring autos, they look alright thus far!

Happy days and not too much to complain about haha!

Thank you, sir!

Feeling good on this one thus far! Fun to have 3 stages in one tent and everything is looking good. It’s nice to see autos thriving in 12/12.

We are looking good after another few days in the 4 x 4!

I had to make some general changes since I made some decision across my two tents in general. I started up a new Z-Up Auto from FastBuds in my 2 x 4, and with 6 CBD Auto plants closer to mid veg than early flower, I decided to move my late stage autoflowers (Sherbet Queen Auto from RQS and Banana Purple Punch Auto from Fast Buds - grow journals linked here) to this 4 x 4 tent.

The move made sense to me given it is better for late stage autos to move to a 12/12 set-up then starting a seedling at late stage tent conditions, and since these two had gone through some issues during the grow (CalMag deficiencies due to learning how to use distilled water), I thought Z-Up deserved the best chance from start to finish! I’ll be starting a separate journal for that one.

Heading into the end of week three (today is day 20) of flowering my 6 photos (3 lemon Tree and 3 Monkey Slapz, and I think we are done with the big stretch, and I am happy!

Here we have some pictures of each plant from day 15 of flowering:

I don’t see any signs of trouble, but some measurements of my last water showed me they were high in EC (I am going to starting measuring in EC from here on out instead of PPM) at 2.1, so I gave them a nice low EC (.34) water today as a bit of a flush. Runoff was spot on at 6.4 PH and 2.0 EC and since I don’t see any signs of anything crazy, we will see how they respond to his flush and decide if I need to do another round of water or ad some nutrients, maybe some Stash Blend! and don’t forget… always CalMag with distilled water haha!

Here is the entire tent today (photos at day 20):

My two CBD Auto Magik are looking good, with the taller one starting to look a bit yellow. They too, needed a full flush based on a super high EC (2.0), so I gave them a big one yesterday. Hopefully this wasn’t too much of a shock!

I hope they continued to ripen up! PH was a bit high at 6.9 for this runoff, so I’ll hit it with 6.2 for the next one.

All in all, things are going well!

Another great week in the 4 x 4 with some definitely flowering happening amongst my 3 Monkey Slapz and Lemon Tree photos.

I gave them a good water on day 25 of Flowering (NEED EC AND PH BEFORE POSTING) and they definitely responded well to some flush-style watering.

My two Auto Magik CBD plants are definitely starting to ripen and turn! They could not be more different from each other, but their smell is quite similar and I am super excited to see CBD looking like this, it’s beautiful!

I was pushing a pretty high PPM on them and did a pretty major flush last week so I went back in today and gave them a 1 quart water of medium strength nutrients. Hopefully they will respond well but I am excited with how healthy they look for sure.

This tent is continuing to look beautiful and I am still impressed! Kudos to Ventana Plant Science, Stash Blend, and this great Growers Choice light for sure.

It’s around this time I start to think about my next grow, or my next seedlings to plant haha. Time to crack the library open and see what I might do!

Any cool ideas, growmies? I have photos and autos at my disposal haha!
