We have non-autoflowering plants that are finally starting to show signs of flowering. But I am afraid this one looks like a male. Can you guys help me sex these?
Those 5 pics are male for sure.
very true
Damn. And that means we have to take them down, right? If the others are female the males will destroy them?
True! Can spread far.
You can Spray off your other plants with a hose on fine mist. It will help kill off any stray pollen that may have already gotten loose.
Them balls out male!
In that same pot we have 4 other plants. I dont see any of the sacs on the others. Sorry to ask so many questiona, we are new growers. These are pics of the other plants. Do these look female? They dont look the same as the first.
@Tsalk221 Only do one plant per pot. Growing more than one plant per pot is going to cause major problems……that one with the sacks, it’s going to screw up everything if you don’t get rid of it.
No no you cant…the pollen releases and COVERS anything in that area, its a done deal…its such a fast act you cant prevent nature from its job, my neighobor 4 houses away had a male a week later my female was a tagged…just cant stop nature
I am assuming you have gotten rid of the male. I can’t see for sure indicators on the 4 other plants…but they are not expressing as male…so far. Keep a close eye on them. Having multiple plants in the same pot can cause issues…but that is what you have so you will make it work.
