Advice on LST and a mutation

Okay I just wanted to show some progress, being brand new I want to finish strong here . Mainly, I’ve noticed that these 2 are drinking close to 2 gallons every 2 days now. Every other feeding I am adding cal-mag, big bloom, and tiger bloom. I am being conservative on the feeding. 1/2 teaspoon cal-mag 1 reason big bloom, and 1 teaspoon tiger bloom. Seems to be taking it fine. Do they need more food? Clueless

Thank you! I think Im getting excited about these girls!

I have to start a post showing you my 2nd grow that I started in my closet. I was busy and they got away from me! I am late trying to LST them, gonna have to wing it. I will post a new thread,

Nice. My second grow I did an outdoor grow on two autos. Trying to squeeze a grow season in our moderate springtime weather.

Can’t grow outdoors here loll. I planted the second batch because I was having some issues with germination, also concerned because I had one mute of the 2 seeds that germinated. Anyhow, I planted the other 6 and had 4 sprout, which I almost drowned in a jiffy tent! I wasn’t expecting them to sprout so fast and the jiffy tent was on a heating pad so it was doing it’s thing. Loll newbie newbie newbie!
Same strain OGKush autoflowers, FFOF 5 gallons air pots. Different light and not in a tent obviously. Temps are good and warm, and as seedlings I had them going at 70-80 percent humidity, These guys are different looking to me seem to be bushier, more dense maybe… Sprouted March 1

Outstanding progress. Some growers push the nutes till they see nute burn and then dial it back, others the a more conservative approach. As @Oheeeoh said, seems to be working so keep it up!

Day 48 from sprout, not much room left in this 3x3
How are the ladies progressing?

They look great. I don’t think they’ll get much taller. Next big change will be one day you’ll look at them and it seems like half the pistils turned brown and curly overnight.:+1:

Thank you, I’m guessing I probably have another few weeks to go. kind of glad they are probably done growing loll, they are hogging up the tent! That’s a good thing😃

Probably figure a month out. Bright side more time for them to fatten up.

Yeah I’m excited to see!!
I think our muty girl might have a bud on her about 10 inches long, maybe 12, you can’t see it in these pictures it’s on the other side. I have another light coming to give them some extra sunshine :sun_with_face:
I can’t believe what these girls look like today.
Happened so fast

Looking very nice! Wish I had that problem - packed grow tent! My little less than 2x2 closet can only take one plant at a time. I’m currently drying my BB. Then going to start a Northern Lights.

I see your girls are about 7 weeks total grow time, right? I would say you easily have another 6-7 weeks. Stretch looks finished. Now they will start to fatten up!

Stay vigilant but don’t smother! Enjoy!

Continued success.

Thank you! I am so excited to see the end product.
Well, I did decide to try and sprout some more seeds, I did infact almost drown them in the jiffy greenhouse. These are the same kind, OGKUSH autoflowers.
Well, I started them in my closet. These girls sprouted March 1st. They actually got away from me. I feel that they grew way faster than my other girls. Anyhow, it was too late for LST , in my novice opinion anyhow.
So, I guess I’m going to just let them do there thing??
Any suggestions? Will I still get a good yield.
I am waiting for the ac infinity 5x5 to be back in stock, hopefully next week. My original plan was to grow them in the closet, NOT HAPPENING LOLL
Here they are what should i do with them once I get them in the 5x5?

Just reading good debate about training and no training. If you have the space, I would just let them do their thing. Maybe clip a few of the large fan leaves to get more light penetration and air circulating. I tuck as many early ands cut older later.

Keep doing what you’re doing. Look good.

I read and respect what people have to say about LST, There are so many ways to successfully grow excellent cannabis I’m not going to nit pick and argue about the “perfect” way to grow.

To me anyway, the LST work that I do in veg and part of flower is the most fun/challenging part of the whole process. I really enjoy watching the plant react to light hitting different parts of the plant.

I was planning on doing LST , but I got busy doing some remodeling on my house and then I started back to work soon we than I was supposed to. Before I knew it, they had grown like crazy! Being a newbie, I wanted to know my best option at this point :zipper_mouth_face:

I’m with you, @Oheeeoh . I really got into the LST on my second plant. Grew one BB. Heavy on the LST. Just jarred for the long slow cure. Got 5 ounces from one plant! I am over the moon with the results. Now the hard part - waiting out the curing process.

@Abbeyw29 You will learn so much from this grow for the next one. Enjoy, learn, take good notes, and have fun watching your meds grow!!

Continued success.

Looking darn nice. Very frosty!

These are today, a little closer up. First pic is my mute. The other pics are her sister. I was trying to get a closer look at the trichomes, so I could start noticing clear, white, and amber. Looks like mute girl is def clear, and her sister is looking pretty milky
