Bing, looking good! I always want to see top and side views of the plant if I’m trying to assess the structure.

Thanks! These might be a bit better:

I might prune some of the lowest fan leaves that seem like they aren’t getting any light because they are preventing airflow through the understory. I also like to make sure leaves aren’t overlapping to create inviting habitats for pests. But it looks like you’re doing really well with minimal pruning.

If you look at the very bottom of that lovely plant, you will see 3 fingered leaves and interior leaves particularly along the mainstem. Go ahead and pluck thise puppies off their job is done.
@KeystoneCops is giving sound advice here, good airflow is key. The other thing to remember, us outdoor soil vrowers dont use fertilizer and so we depend a bit on scavenging N from older leaves. Indoors, you feed your plants on a regular basis so scavenging is not so important. Looks real good though, whatever you choose it will be :slightly_smiling_face:

Remove the lower 30% of leaves and any leaves on inside of plant along with any blocking bud sites. LST to get light into center of plant.

Why is it important to get light onto flowers?

I would think its more important to get the flowers to the top of the canopy and make them as even as possible because the plant will focus its energy to the highest points for flower development. Light on flowers is kinda moot really as their job isnt to photosynthesize

Are any of yours Gold Leaf? I believe that the one in rear is the Gelato. Beautiful  plants. Good Job.
This is my first attempt and have 5 GoldLeaf in a 4x4x7. I fimmed twice and topped once. I have removed all leaves that are not part of the bud and even taken a few of those to get light penatration. I have removed close to 2 1/2 lb of leaves so far. I take more and more every week. Basically, a tent over crowded with buds. Poor Me.

Hellraiser advised me to pluck all you can. I still have 5 weeks till harvest.

Hahaha…yea I feel for you, must be so depressing :joy: Nice plants! I’m going to try scrogging next grow. No Gold leafs, the one on the left at the back is indeed a gelato. The biggest one is NL auto and the one at the back right is Royal Critical. I’m starting the flush for the gelato this week…harvest after that…this waiting is killing me

Waiting sucks. Like they say, if its worth waiting for…
I know how you feel. next time I am trying some different strains instead of just GoldLeaf. Spread out the harvest time a little.

I will say my second grow seemed to go much faster. I wasn’t checking my tent every three minute.

There’s a human head shaped hole at the top of the grow tent now. I’ve toned it down a bit since I got the hang of watering properly. Still not Zen enough to leave it alone.
