I have an Apera PC60 and it’s great. Measures both pH and PPM. PPM is also very important for a cannabis grow.
Are we talking tap water or filtered? RO?
Tap water. Does temp of water matter? If so cold, warm? I’ll get new tester.
Throw this thing away. They are notoriously inaccurate. Everyone here has given great advice.
Take tap/RO water
Add nutes
pH the water with a meter (always after adding nutes, if you’re using nutes)
Add pH Up or Down (I use TNB) to get the pH in the 6.2 area as @beachglass explained
Water dry pot to runoff – water is coming out of the pot (runoff about 20% of what you give the plant)
Now – you’ll want to learn about testing runoff pH and ppms. But, I’m not the person to teach that. I’m still getting it figured out.
My understanding is 68-73 degrees.
I love my Apera 20. Just got it and it’s miles beyond the less expensive blue and yellow meters.
Ive had my apera ph60 4 over a year now and its a great product also great company. Have you seen the 5 in 1 bluetooth ones there expensive but damn nice!!
