Was wondering if anyone uses Humic Acid with their grows? I am thinking about using it in my watering and nutrition schedule every 2 weeks on a BBA grow. Not only does Humic Acid increase/chelate the availability of nutrients, it also flushes high levels of salts out of the root zone. It can however lower pH which may or may not have to be altered -/+ depending on the readings. At any rate, just wanted to get some input on the subject. Thanks!!!
It can dramatically increase nutrient uptake, so be careful with your nute levels.

Agreed. It would definitely be a delicate balance. It may be advantageous to only use 1/8 of the nutrients? This way you could utilize its other benefits w/o burn. It seems like in particular it would be beneficial to introduce a watering regiment at the flowering stage.
As a landscape business owner I 
what it does for lawns, plants and ornamentals! Again, as a grower it would be a bit of a learning curve to get that right balance however!

When using fox farm ocean forest I would add Humic Bliss by Plantonix at the rate of 1 - 2 tsp / gallon of soil. I also used Ancient Earth from Advanced Nutrients. It contains both fulvic and humic acids.
Now have switched to coco and Jack’s.

I just want to point out something w/o coming across the wrong way… So Humic Bliss looks like a great product. However, Humic Acid is Humic Acid in most cases. At $15 per pound this is another example of companies taking a already existing product, catering to a certain market and jacking up the price all in the name of profit. And for them to say “Highest concentration of fully water soluble humic acids available to the home gardener.” is stating the obvious. All Humic Acid (that I’ve seen) is extremely, extremely water soluble. Anyway, I hate seeing people waste money like this and thinking they are getting something specifically devoted to what they are using it for. In this case cannabis grows. Save some money and buy The Andersons product instead. Apply it to your landscape plants, vegetables and house plants with what you have left over if 11lbs is to much. Again, I say this with all due respect and hate to see you/anyone waste their hard earned money!

And at what ratio Of Andersons would you suggest I put in a gallon of water?
That is what I am wondering as well. So not all nutrients get delivered to the plant (not using humic acid). Some permeate down into the soil and get lost. Humic Acid acts as a binder (chelates) to nutrients and helps deliver what would otherwise be wasted. So if it chelates the available nutrients and after it’s job their are no more nutrients to bind to, it permeates down into the soil as run off. It’s essentially a vehicle to help deliver nutrients. At any rate if you mix too much, no harm is done.
Again to answer your question I don’t know. I’ll do some research and keep you posted however!

Now I’m using GH’s Humic acid but as you said it’s a rip off. Could make alota gallons with 11 pounds of dry Humic. I’ll be here when you think you have a good mix. Thanks
Yes I am almost certain the liquid Humic Acids out there are nothing other than granular Humic Acid dissolved in plain old water. I’ve wetted The Anderson’s and then another one called Rich Earth (I bought for $20 for 1lb back before I knew better) and it literally dissolves in under a minute. I’ve never made a tea so to speak, but I do remember reading somewhere that The Andersons Humic DG can be dissolved and used in a backpack sprayer for lawns. It does some amazing things for lawns!
I’ll dig around and post my findings on the subject for sure!

If you need more they I also make a 50lb bag for 70 with tax. That is what I use for my landscape business and my customers love me for it! It’s my best kept secret!

Yup I use mr fulvic and fulvic acid is just humic acid with added effects and it supercharges my auto grows

I have been using ferti-fulvic plus for while now. Not sure why, I am 100% synthetic with chelated micros. But was cheap enough and doesn’t seem to hurt anything.
Fulvic ranges 5.5-6 ph for uptake in micros
Humic 6-7 for uptake in micros
Amino carries all ranges

I do it so my micros will always be taken in by the plant even if ph fluctuates

I use down to earth and ratio humic and fulvic acids at 1.2 grams / gallon of water

What are you doing that would cause concern for ph fluctuations? You are still in the autopots right?
I have been using fulvic at 1g per gallon with good results. This is the one @imSICKkid recommended.

Yes but there’s a 30 gal res with an air stone inside the tank, a serious dehumidifier which I’m sure doesn’t help . But with evaporation of water the ph can swing a few points towards the end of the barrel. In taking account that I can go from 5.8-6.1 over a few days.
Now at a 6.1 I’m not too concerned knowing a refill will correct the small amount of flucs but I like the peace of mind that I don’t get pin dot spots all over the vegetation when it does
