Has anyone made use of humic acid to assist with nutrient uptake?
Yes, some growers use it. Avoid overuse. It can dramatically increase nutrient uptake and cause problems if overdosed.

Agreed ^^^ be very very greedy with it. I think i used 2 tablespoons or so for nearly 100 gallons of soil…
I use it occasionally on my outdoor. Good stuff but use light doses.
I also use it if i have a plant that looks like it needs a kick in the ass. Or a yellowing outdoor plant.
