thanks everyone for your perspective on the use of these fans but …I guess we will agree to disagree on their importance and use at the canopy level…
@Tylersays I was able to pre order 3, each on a separate order. I also added one item to each order, maybe that’s why it went through. I am hopeful they don’t notice and send me all three, they already charged my CC and sent order confirmations.
Thanks for the tip!! Just placed my second order and about to go back for more!
I used a different card for the second order as well as a different coupon code LOL!
Don’t know if it makes a difference but I did get it to go through this time.
They probably got a bunch of angry emails in the last couple of days. LOL!
Tried this yesterday on a phone , I pad and computer. Got denied all 3 times by IP address. Got the wife ordering one while at work today.
Worked for me. Added a fan and a controller 69. So that is 3 fans and a controller ordered. Thanks for the tip!
We shall see if it works in a month.
@Newt Let’s hope AC Infinity seizes the moment and realizes there is so much demand for a good clip fan that is oscillating. I bet when they see the shear number of fans ordered, multiple fans ordered for us lucky ones, they will look at the revenue and I don’t think they will cancel the orders, but rather make us wait for our additional fans, maybe only sending one in June and the others at a later date.
I do not think the issue is manufacturing, but rather getting the fans shipped to the US from China. COVID-19 had caused pent up demand for everything due to shipping constraints.
I would be OK with that. Just wish there wasn’t a wait. But frankly, since I have a scrog going, and just flipped to flower yesterday, I will very likely just finish this run with what I have, and then restructure the flower tent with the new fans after I harvest.
I hope they do pre orders for the Controller 69 with WiFi. I’ve been waiting YEARS for this one.
@yourviolentpast Have you looked at the NIWA controller? The Controller 69 is great, except that it doesn’t connect to wifi, only Bluetooth, which means it won’t notify you or send an alarm to your phone unless you are in Bluetooth range. I just checked AC infinity website and they state that the Controller 69 connects to Bluetooth. Honestly, no wifi makes the controller unappealing for actually controlling the environment.
The NIWA comes with a sensor that monitors temp and humidity and will turn on/off humidifiers, dehumidifiers, a heater, AC, fans, auto Watering, and lights. It has 4 plugs, so your can’t connect all of the above to one NIWA. Personally, I have a humidifier, dehumidifier, and heater plugged into my NIWA. The one thing I would say is be careful with the total AMPs of the equipment you plug in and you will need to buy “dumb” equipment with a simple on/off button or it will need the “power outage” restart feature. The biggest advantage, besides saving energy because my equipment only runs when needed, is it connects to wifi and it sends alarms and notifications to your phone via the app, regardless of where you are or how you are connected to the internet. So, i can leave on vacation and monitor my grow remotely. That is why I suggest the NIWA, Freedom to leave the grow and and be confident you will catch an environmental problem remotely.
At least that is my experience
My house is small enough that my Bluetooth covers my whole house, so I think I’ll be fine with the 69. I am with both 67s I have.
The Wifi capable 69 comes out on 5/30 but I’ll definitely check out NIWA. Sometimes I’m on the road and want to monitor myself instead of explaining to my husband via FaceTime in which I get frustrated and tell him to just burn the tent down.
Lol that’s too funny
Third and final order placed and confirmed! Yay!
Now it gets eerily similar to growing weed - hurry up and wait!
Thanks again for the tip @Ri0 !!
i would love a wifi version when im not home, my Humidifier is wifi and i can control it and get notifications anywhere.
My pleasure!!!
Lol, he’s allowed to get out first right???
Possibly printed a shipping label, but why would they do that with no fans in stock? I’m cornfused too.
There is a tracking number, cropped out of the picture. It says label created, UPS is waiting for the package.
