Thinking of buying this. Seems to be a good price, and comparable to the AC Infinity t4. Anyone ever use it before?
Seems like a cost-reduced version of the AC Infinity 4 inch. You get what you pay for.
It will perform as a stopgap until can get a 5year 1. As long as flow happens. It is designed for our tents so will work fine. As with everything… a cheap fan works for a while. A good 1 for 3 times as long. In MY opinion only can cheap out on a fan…a tent…small parts of the grow if needed. Never cheap out the light…nutes…soil.
I would be concerned about noise too.
You know i bet it is just plastic shaped like an AC with a cheaper motor. Might be quiet. I agree it looks just like my 6". My 6 is steel.
Hmmmm, now you got me thinking. The cheapest I can find a cloud line t4 is $79 free shipping.
I actually got last 6" open box from ebay. Was brand new. Paid 60 maybe cant remember. 150.00 fan. There and Mercari can find new or gently used. Some pay for the best gear…find they have no green thumb…get out at half value to just get out.
Agree with @MidwestGuy if it sounds to good to be true it probably is you get what you pay for
If possible don’t cheap on the fan. I made that mistake and I even with AC infinity just too small trying to save a few $. I ended up having to buy the bigger one anyways like 2 Weeks later. I got the T6 with controller for like $100 on the major shopping site I’m not sure if we can link but you should know what I’m referring to lol
For a 2x4 tent? I was thinking 4” was kind of the standard for that size tent.
Ahh yea sorry mine is 4x4.
A 200 CFM hybrid or true in-line centrifugal might be OK for a 2x4xX … as long as you don’t put a lot of drag on it. Start adding much ducting & intake filters & carbon filters & the CFM can go away quickly. Either way I’m thinking you might want at least a 400 CFM true in-line centrifugal if it will see a lot of drag, or a 400 CFM hybrid if it won’t, & then turn it down with a speed control if needed. Better to be able to move too much vs. not enough CFM.
Sounds good. Smell is no issue, and there won’t be any drag on it.
