A response to a thread that shows the original posters question or statement

Hello, I notice that most people who respond to threads here have the original posters question showing above the text in their response. This is the first forum I’ve been an active part of, and I’m not too familiar with the layout. Can somebody explain how you do that, or point me to somewhere I can read directions?

Hold your finger down until you see the quote icon appear.

Then drag it to encapsulate the part you want to quote (like copy/paste).

Then hit the quote icon

I am on pc, and just be highlghting the text, a “quote” option appears. Or when you are typing your message, there is a quote option there also…
