Hello all, I have a question about my grow, actually both grows…they took/are taking longer to finish than I thought they would. My first Blue Dream grow went 71days, with mostly clear trichs and few amber (smoke was great). First Grow Blue Dream
This grow is on day 75 (82 days since light flip) and the closest to finish based on trichs is the Cali Dream. 4 ILGM Strain Grow Journal - #64 by MickyS
The others didnt put on the weight and I’ve got mostly clear tirichs. So, my question, after this rambling, is how late should I let them go without risking the harvest?
Eventually I assume they need to come down, even with clear trichs if that is the case. I’m suspecting my light, that has been the constant. Hortilux 1000w HPS in a sun systems hood. Only the second grow on this bulb but maybe its bunk? Thanks all!
Sounds like you have some late bloomer plants. Each plant and strain is different and I’d continue to stay the course until they are ready to harvest 
Thanks @MattyBear, I dont want to f’em up this late in the game! Staying the course! Would you consider flushing at this point or keep feeding them?

Taking longer in flower is a good thing. Usually.
I agree, pics would help. The longer they go without trichs turning usually means more weight.
They look nice. If I had to guess just maybe a little underfed and leaves turning a little early.
@MattyBear @Myfriendis410 @dbrn32 thanks for the replies. I tried getting some trich pics with my bluetooth microscope but my phone isnt finding the device. I did look at them and they have progressed, I’m getting a good mix of cloudy/clear with about 10%ish amber. I’ll try the microscope later and post pics.
They appear to be within the harvest timeframe based on pistils, but trichomes will tell a better story of where they’re at
Yes I abandoned ed the pistil method as well as the number of days flowering method 
I’m still wondering if the Bio Bizz organic nutes extend the flowering times.
I’m not sure on the Bio Bizz nutes, but I wouldn’t think they’re the reason for extended flower times. There were a few members using that line, but I haven’t seen either one around in a while. If @M4ur used that line
Don’t abandon these techniques but use them as indicators toward deciding to harvest. They all tell you something. A good journal is worth it’s weight.
Keep all techniques in mind… look at the trichromes…go by that and what the girls are telling you

Well, tomorrow is the day they come down. 92 days since the 12/12 flip. I’ve been flushing for over a week. They look terrible lol. Trichomes look good to me, each girl looks a bit different but all withing the realm of “done” I think.
Lights off at 6am this morning, tomorrow at 6pm I’m getting out the hedgers lol.
