A little nute burn?

All are in FFOF with added Perlite. I’m in the tail end of week four since planting the germinated seeds. At the third week I did start using a small amount of the Bergman Veg Fertilizer(half dose per plant every other day when they were watered, and then eventually a full dose per plant every other day in their 32oz watering per pot). I noticed the burnt tips after the got either two or three of the full dose veg fertilizer. Didn’t give them anything for two days, and just gave them water with no nutes this morning.

My assumption is to give water without added for another watering, or two, and then start to slowly introduce the bloom fertilizer at a half dose per plant to see how they take to it?

Whatcha’ll think??

What are they autos? If so I believe the FFOF soil is quite hot in nutrients, you can completely skip veg nutes if this is the case and start straight on light dosing bloom nutes now, the soil will have enough nutrients to get them to flower

Then yeah what I do is water x2 then water nutrients. Water x2 then nutrients and so on

Over all plants look healthy , If not already use TDS meter to measure your PPM in on feed. If you’re feeding a 1000 PPM you can back off to 800 ppm . Good luck :+1::v:

I don’t have one yet, but know I probably should buy one eventually. This go round I may just try something along the lines of what @Se7en mentioned. Thanks for the help!

What ive learned about autos using amended soil is to not feed at all unless the plant asks for it… if you do decide to feed, go with an 1/8 of full feed schedule. Autos dont require nutes like photos do… this go around with my banana kush im not going by a schedule, just by what my plants tell me. Im growing in Coast of Main Stongington Blend… starting them in COM seedling starter…

I agree with this above also, all strains are different though, my last harvest was forbidden runtz auto and she handled almost full strength nutes in flower to finish, didn’t phase her one but, my two cherry colas got nitrogen toxicity at first feeding of veg nutes and had to flush both of them, they hate the veg nutes, I been using soil that’s quite hot too so I have changed over to a lighter mix, but this is what I pretty much been doing with these cherry cola autos is letting them tell me now, they’re a few weeks out from harvest and getting some nice fading going on now, next batch will be in the new soil with different nutrients I’m trying out this time round :pray:t2: Always organic though

FFOF is great by itself… I just chopped my very own tree using only FFOF my first grow btw🙂… I only added Cultivation Nation/Bloom at flower last 3 weeks… No burn only until the very end due to the plant using all of FFOF’s Nutrients.
