A few of my seed popped out of soil

So I’m on day 3 of germinating and I germinate by soaking the seeds for about 5 or 6 hours. Then I plant right into the medium and give a little bit of water to moisten and then I put a humidity dome on top. From there I just keep the top moist. Anyway, I was misting and I noticed that somehow I must have missed the hole when dropping the seeds in. Or maybe I may have put the dome on to deep into the medium and then probably push the seeds up to the top. So I don’t know how long they had been in the soil being moist if at all. Will they thill germinate okay?

They are germinating so they haven’t quite popped yet though I do have a few that have from seeds planted a little earlier. One strawberry gorilla should be vegging but is still a sprout. I can’t figure that out either I just keep feeding her when she gets thirsty. But not as much as the other girls of course.

Here’s the girl that won’t take off (3rd picture). And a couple others.

As long as they stayed moist it shouldn’t be an issue. Just cover them up with a little soil and hopefully they’ll be fine.

I like the paper towel method. I put a paper towel with the seeds inside aluminum foil. Once the root gets about a quarter inch I use some tweezers and place them in soil.

Routine watering is definitely more difficult with a tiny plant in a large pot. I would recommend watering a ring approximately 2-4” away from the main stem, 1/2 a solo cup should work. Seedlings need a lot of humidity, they’ll absorb this from the air while they’re putting down roots. Take a clear solo cup, water bottle cut in 1/2 will work and mist the inside and cover the plants. Temps around 76-85 with the RH around 65-75%. Remove the dome daily and remist. Water 1/4 solo cup again in 4 days :love_you_gesture:

Alright I’ll definitely remember this thank you.

That’s the answer I was hoping for.

I’ll remember that thank you.

I’ve got a gorilla glue auto that has been slow as well. Here’s mine on day 20. At this point I’m not expecting much.

Just keep watering in a circle on the Outside edge of your leaves that way your roots have to search for water and build a strong foundation and then they’ll start blowing up up top

So they’re starting to sprout already. But now I have a helmet head issue with 3 of them. Will try and fix after work today.

I’m a little nervous I’ve never done this before. I’ve misted them pretty good with a water and hydrogen peroxide solution now I’m just waiting a few hours to help them. But the good news is one is halfway popped so I may not need to operate on that one (I hope). I also found another seed last night after my original post, that was above the medium and had about a 1/2. Inch tap root I hope I didn’t touch the root with my finger or the humidity dome. I don’t want to stunt it.

Keep the dome on it and keep the humidity up. She should shed her helmet. If not she might need a little help. Definitely keep moist under those domes with mist. Just mist the dome not the plant itself

I got them now waiting for the last 2 sprouts to break the soil which should be today or tomorrow. Good news is I did get 100% germination.
