A couple questions*

Newb here. I recently planted my plants into solo cups about 3 weeks ago. Well, my buddy and I were checking them out and somehow the plants were bumped and hit the floor :frowning:
Seeming how they were already stressed and soil was spilt out … I moved them into 3 gallon pots and watered them. That was a couple days ago. Since then there hasnt been much happening. No new growth.

Do you think they will survive?

Also,
One of the plants has what seems to be a rust patch? What could this be?

Thanks in advance. :v:t3:

Your plants look just fine.

Probably just a water splotch from watering. Blemishes come and go. No need to worry about them unless they become systemic.

Awesome. Thanks man, much appreciated.
Also, when do you think I should start mixing nutes into my waterings?

What soil (brand and type) are you using?

I am using FFOF.

They are working on down under growth since they have a whole new area to expand and once they better establish the root food highway they will start up top again with new growth.
They’ll be just fine
Congrats on your grow

You won’t need to feed for 4 to 6 weeks from your most recent transplant.

Awesome. That makes a lot of sense. How long do you think until they start showing new growth again?

Okay. Perfect. So the FFOF has all the nutrients they need? I shouldnt give it any enzymes or anythinf extra?

Correct. Not at this point.

For 4 to 6 weeks, yes.

Within a week
Think about watering around the outer perimeter of the pot.
I also like to water in the saucer at bottom of pot if you use one.
The roots will seek moisture and by doing so they will grow towards the moisture out and down.

I was forced to totally pull this girl when she was about 2wks up. The next morning, laying on the floor in a pile of coco, her leaves were somewhat perky. Dropped her in a 5 gallon and she is going strong. They’ll be ok, just may need a few days to recover.

That’s great advice and information to obtain. I will be doing this. So I shouldnt water directly under the plant?

If you have a sprayer you can lightly spray the entire top soil to keep it moist. I do it daily regardless of last water etc.
You can as they get bigger just now I would walk the roots out and down by enticing them to go there with where I water.
Everything needs water and I want to keep the critters in the soil happy and doing their thing. But again I grow with living soil and organic amendments so it’s not for every method. It can cause some fungus mold which can attract fungus gnats and they lay eggs on soil and those hatch and the larvae can mess with roots.
There are simple ways to control those with mosquito bits.
I just applied beneficial nematodes and watered them into soil and they eat the bad things.
