I use rockwool for my clones. Mainly because they hold water better.

I use root riot cubes. If they’re aren’t moist out of the bag, I moisten with distilled water.

I’m wondering my soil (FFHF) was to wet and it rotted the stalk. I cut 4 3/4" drain holes in the bottom and the same for the dome cup top. I never re-watered again, just misted the top cup when it was dry.
