6 Week Autoflower Issues

I definitely need help identifying the main issue that I’m currently facing with my first grow.

So im not sure how to narrow down the exact reason why these lower leaves are suddenly turning yellow. I believed that it wasn’t getting enough sunlight due to the canopy but I’ve seen discoloration on the tips of some of the fan leaves as well.

I’m also experiencing some high temp weather which I believe is causing the leaves to curl.

I can’t really control how hot it gets so some days reach 90 degrees but generally doesn’t stay that way for long. My problem is the discoloration on the bottom leaves and tips as well. If you have any advice i would love the help🙏

It’s normal for a plant to shed its lower leaves as a plant matures. They have served their purpose and are no longer needed by the plant.

Your plant would benefit greatly from more intense lighting.

That top picture, is that the current size of your pot?
If so, need to put in bigger size pot.

A bigger pot would be a good start.

Well i thought it was a good idea to start one autoflower in a 2 liter and the other 2 in 5 gallon fabric pots. But one didn’t make it so it’s just the soda bottle and one 5 gallon. I transferred using solo cups for the only 5 gallon and it stunted the growth.

First time making it this far i just want to see the end. Plus the soda bottle one is already root bound

All the more reason to put in bigger pot.
Does one in soda bottle have holes for drainage?

Yeah i put at least 5-6 holes in the bottom so it’ll drain but I’ll try it in a couple of days since i want to see any reactions to a higher nutrient dose. Thank you again but would you happen to know the reason behind different colored fan leaves? The tips are turning and im not sure why. This was happening before i upped the dose. I thought it was nutrient deficiency or underwatering

Might be nitrogen toxicity that is causing your leaves to claw.
Is it the one in soda bottle ?
What is your EC of nutrients?

A little embarrassed but I don’t even know how to check :pensive: How would i be able to find out? Also it’s actually happening to both of them. Very subtle signs

It measures the strength of nutrients, you can do it with either a TDS or EC pen.

Until i can get one would you suggest flushing with ph water next watering session?

Howdy
Me personally, no I would not flush.
Your plants look OK, I would get your EC or TDS pen and then go from there.
Do you have pH pen?
Buy quality test pens, especially the pH pens, Apera or Blue lab.
