Chronic Widow bounced back nicely from HST in 2 days.
Congrats on your harvest!
So what are your thoughts and observations from splitting the stalk? I know the truth of it will have to wait until after the cure, but what are your thoughts so far?
The sour diesel seemed to put on more trichomes the last few days, could be due to the stem splitting. The green crack was always covered with trichomes, so the final outcome of that could be due to good genetics. The current CW will be getting the stem split, so I can compare it to the previous that wasn’t.
This journal has my mouth watering! Great job friend and the journal was definitely a great read good stuff brotha ![]()
Thank you, I’ll make sure to keep it updated.
Half way through week 7 of veg with the Chronic Widow. Took off the lower two branches for clones, leaving just the 4 main.
2 Chronic Widow clones in 5th week of veg, not going to top them. Going to let them just grow naturally, like 2 Christmas trees.
How’s the flower girl?? She’s getting fat I bet
Doing great work ![]()
I understand why Sour Diesel is your fave. Incredibly beautiful red hairs / pistols which ever you prefer to call them? Good job
.
I’ll post new pix of the flower girl soon. She’s in her 5th week of flower, starting to have that nice smell to her. Now she is beginning to put on some weight. Chronic Widow is so far my favorite to grow, very forgiving if you forget to stay on top of them. Plus it’s an excellent smoke, very smooth and relaxing.
Thanks a lot, sour diesel was a joy to grow. She have lots of dense buds, and the smell always gets people’s attention. I ended up with 3 quart sized mason jars full of SD.
So, what’s your final say on the stem split you did?
I think it made a difference, but I will have a better understanding on my new grows when I try stem splitting again.
Chronic Widow in its 7th week of flower
2 clones taken from the above plant. They are in their 7th week of veg.
Dense looking buds.
Nice job!
Thanks, the smoke is very smooth too.
