Update and just about that time for these four to be harvested. I have pulled this one out and placed in the dark for for a few days then she will be cut down. Done cut one and got drying so I can compare between the two and see what the difference is if any. We will see…

Going to post my first hydro grown clone it’s an og just like the others actually she was taken off the plants I just harvested or am getting ready to harvest.

So here are my Kimbo kush I got 4 out of 4 germinated. 2 of them are looking fantastic but the other 2 look horrible with deformation on the leaves. I remember the last time I growed these I had 1 out of 7 look this way. Idk if it’s something genetic or something in the soil. They are all in the same mix of low nute soil. All showing pH run off around 5.8 to 6.3. A few of them I had to pull off the seed shell as they are very hard and tough and funny shaped seeds they don’t shed their seed pods very well and have had them die off from this. So I may have damaged them pulling these off. Idk I will let them grow and see what happens.

If they are from seed they will all grow differently …that’s what you call different phenos , meaning each plant will have a different characteristic of its mother or father plant , whether that be male or female…? so there are a lot of choices , that’s when it comes down to you to pick and choose between the four of which one that is better in that you want to clone …and continue on that lineage and then that’s what you do… you take cuttings and carry that plant further for years to come …depending on how well it may be or may not be …that’s up for you to decide…

Hey I feel ya there and I have too many mothers going just for that reason right now lol. And I have bought seeds and got as many as 3 different types off the same type of seeds. All of the Kimbo kush I have grown have had the same traits just like with these 2 I have grown 7 of these before. And had a few that time show these same deformations on the leaves but when it came harvest time those plants grew the biggest and best buds. I’m just not for sure if it is a genetic trait or something that I have done on my end. The only difference that I know of is helping pull the seed shell off and I know improper pH can cause deformation and certain nute deficiency will cause it but all is good on that end. So I’m clueless. We will see what happens.

Lol well let’s say a Lil prayer for these guys and hope they pull through and at least start looking somewhat better. And maybe in the end they will produce and make something. Believe me they have only started their stressful lives I will put them through a lot before it’s all over.

They either get weaker or they get stronger from this point on …but all in all it’s up to them to decide …

Oh believe me this a–hole gets the rent lol I haven’t bought any smoke in almost a year now. The girls well pay for their space I provide for them…at least save me that much more $ in the big picture!

Update and the last for the og clones. I have got about all of them harvested and a final tally of 9.5 oz. Off 4 monster clones that were vegd for roughly a month. Next up are 3 of the Riddler clones and one og. They are ready to be placed in a scrog hopefully I can get a room set up for them in the next couple of days.
Kimbo kush I have topped the 2 healthy looking plants the other 2 still looking horrible. And also my kurple fantasy mother that I have reverted for cloning.

So I have took the time to clean out my closet and got the 3 Riddler and 1 og monster clones into their final home.
a 2’X3’ scrog and sorry about the pics but I did turn the light out for one
Also I have done some extreme trim work on the 2 good looking Kimbo kush. One I just topped and took off the the third and fourth set of leaves. I mainly do this to let light get to the lower branches. the other I attempted to FIM for the first time and I didn’t get the four tops but I did manage to leave enough to make threeand the scrubs lol looking horrible they are all going to have to be transplanted ASAP as the roots are starting to pile up in the bottom. And just bc I find it interesting check out my reverted mother and this crazy growth starting a new limb right out of a completely dead one

update time and the scrog has filled up quite nicely. here is my first dwc full size grow. I have experimented with some smaller 2 gallon set ups running clones for a very short time. So this is my first 5 gallon set up and I’m going to let her veg for a while before flowering. Also trying the technaflora line of nutes for this grow. I’m already liking it better for the dwc grow. I will stick to foxfarms for my soil.and my Kimbo kush one of the horrible looking ones has just stopped growing completely Idk if it may have some root bond issues that have stunted it but I really have no clue what’s going on with it when the others are in the same mix of soil and perlite. And the two good ones look fantastic. My luck these beautiful plants will be males and the turds will be female.

Still no clue what’s going on with the scruffy? I’ve never seen anything like it.
No I havent a clue the last time I growed this strain I had a couple do the same thing what blows my mind is they are all 4 in the same soil, same environment, and fed the same since day one. My guess is just something in the genetics.
