4 gallon pots? Anyone

I got a couple of 4gal (3.9 gal) from home debit. They’re plastic and I drilled extra holes in bottom and some in the side for air to the roots. Just seems curious that so much is mentioned about 3 and 5 gal pots. Mine seems to be a great size for indoor autos.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t work as long as there are plenty of ventilation holes and proper drainage. Happy growing! :palm_tree::call_me_hand:t2:

No question, just wondering why I never hear of people using 4gal pots.

Mainly because fabric pots are the most popular and they don’t come in 4 gallon.

Just seems like a good size for a smaller grow space. I like that it lets my plant stretch out a bit.

You can grow in any size pot. The last few runs I grew in 1 gallon fabric pots. The only issue with plastic buckets for pots is they don’t air prune the roots so you can run into root bound issues if the plants get large enough.
