2x4 CBD auto cheese grow

I think the plants look healthy and well fed.

Have you taken a PPM read on your runoffs yet? If so what was it? @Nicky

That’s just the thing you don’t know what elements the plant is not using. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a flush, if you’re getting high TDS numbers. It’ll flush out excess nutrients that aren’t being used. I would be using at least P-K to boost flower development. @Nicky

6.5 PH in
6 PH out
234 TDS in
4250 TDS out.

Going to start running my nutes at half strength next water with cal and mag as recommended by manufacturer, but as said at half recommended strength.

Is your water 234 or are you adding Nutes? As I understand it with FFoF you shouldn’t be adding nutes until the soil is depleated (lower PPM runoff). The soil is alone adequate to support the growth.

Thank you. That is a little high to start feeding at. I would do as either @Covertgrower suggested and maybe flush the plant or do like @WickedAle suggested and hold off feeding until the TDS number comes down. I use ocean Forest on all my plants also. And a lot of times I don’t even have to start feeding until 7 to 8 weeks.

Just what my tap water comes out as, no nutes.

Thanks all. I will just keep watering and watch TDS for when they get hungry, holding off on the feeding for now ide rather not flush good soil.

That sounds like a perfect plan  if you water her to 20% runoff each time you’ll see her TDS numbers come down each time you water her.

Yeah I do but I’m just not sure when to add nutes… Still learning that bit with soil

I have this chart that I use as a guideline. you may have to adjust it a little because Autos will start flowering sooner than photoperiod Plants.

This chart actually is in ppm’s I’ll see if I can find one that has TDS on it. Or if you know how to convert the numbers.

I don’t know how to be honest I didn’t know there was a difference.

Here they are day 31

Now don’t be concerned at first because you’re going to have higher numbers being in the ocean Forest but after you water her a few times to 20% runoff you’ll bring her down within range. When she comes down to closer numbers that’s when you can start feeding.

Harvested other plants today
Autos should be in the tent within the next week, once the drying is over because I’m. Currently using the tent as Dry space

Now under the QB while other grow cures in the tent, I’m really saddened about the timeline for this grow I messed up… 23 days ago these monsters needed the QB.

I Geuss I will just play it out and try again in the fall as the heat during the summer makes more sence to grow outdoors with autos

So I’m about 2 months into this and my TDS from the fox farms is still 3200…

I don’t understand how, why or when people feed nutrients when growing in fresh soil.
