Hello so some of the ladies are in their 2nd week of flowering and I just noticed an aphid problem…not too bad yet …but I want to get a hold on this before it spreads because it’s a ton of extra work I definitely don’t need during the flowering stage. I have neem oil spray but would like to know whats the best and most effective way to destroy these bastards without stressing out the ladies. Also any recommendations on decoy plants aphids favor more over marijuana?? Please help!

I see you have the yellow sticky traps to capture the adults. I use mosquito bits. Soak a capful overnight in a gallon of water, strain use on your water day. Works for me. Kills the larvae.
Yeah they sticky traps are working …however there’s still a ton under the leaves…for the most part I could keep spraying underneath but trying to use the least amount of repelent…but ill experiment with your advise…thanks!
Yeah thats the part I didn’t want to do… was give the girls a rub down as my last option…its just so many leaves and I already did a recent pruning …neem oil should be ok I guess but I guess the fastest way is to wipe them off…geez. ok thanks !
You can buy lady beatles from ur hydro store i believe they will take care of aphids
Neem oil shouldn’t be used during flowering. Capt. Jack’s Dead Bug is a good alternative that can be used during flowering.

One more question…any recommendations on products that we can feed the plants that would basically discourage these pests??
There isn’t anything as far as prevention goes, but keep in mind that overwatering can attract bugs. Silica boosts plant cell structure and may help the plant withstand attacks better.
Here’s a good alternative to captain jacks dead bug which I have also used. I like this over jacks DB because DB browns out my pistols
This is cheaper also. Mosquito bits on the soil should stop any there. I use this with the bits
My parents always co-planted marigolds in the vegetable garden to keep pests away. I had a marigold plant in with my last grow and now I have a sage plant. PS the sage plant is doing better than my MJ plants!
I use nematodes in my soil. They take care of my gnat problem. Just a few aphids start in soil, but Captain Jack’s Dead Bug takes care of everything else…
If all else fails you can buy ladybugs on Amazon no chems. and they will take care of it for you! welcome to the community.
Welcome to the community! I really hate you have insect problems! I hope you get them knocked out soon. 
Thanks for the warm welcome…so I ended up just buying my army of lady bugs…wanted to make sure at least a good majority of the aphids would be eaten by them…1500 is alot lol…last time I had some when I did outdoor all they did was hide in clusters under the leaves. I have been feeding with GH Armor SI …hopefully it helps the plants tolerate the bugs…also I’m gonna try a can of air …maybe I can blast them off the branches.
One more thing…there’s also a product that you can brush on…its like the stuff they put on the fly traps…but this one says it’s safe to apply on the plant…I’m so tempted to experiment and see if it would stop the aphids in their tracks?
