I’m in my second week of flower. Strain is critical by royal queen. Day 16 my pH is 6.5 I’m in happy frog my ppm was around 300 and I added around 550 last time I fed. I did give it a bloom booster. Less then half a dose. Prob more towards a qrtr of a dose. Of Kool bloom by general hydroponics. I also gave it 3ml of cal mag. And that was 2 gallons of water. So even that was half a dose.
I have an exhaust
A passive intake. No CO2
And there’s two 300 watt Amazon lights for two plants
So which came first? The yellowing leaves? Or the burnt tips?
This looks like Nitrogen burn. Nothing alarming, tad more then I would push for, but water only will give her time to absorb some of this.
This looks like she either needs more bloom or she has a pH lockout. Since she has burnt tips, I’d scratch out nute pH lockout. If the damage was done before the feed, don’t worry. It takes a bit of time to get through it. Also the leaves will not look better. No don’t remove them until the damage stops spreading. It will just go to more leaves
I believe the burnt tips were there
My pH has been on point! For the last month at 6.5 steady
Then it’s probably just needed a kick of P and K. Let her get that good food into her system. Should stop spreading today or the next couple days.
No idea how I wrote pH
Every four days roughly I water ten gallon pots always to run off and always check my pH. And ppm. They usually go through roughly 600 ppms every 7 days. The last two waters I threw in rain water. It was p.h of 6. Before that. I’d pH to roughly 6.8 I found that it always drops a little and I end up with 6.6 starting but the pen always ends and rest on 6.5
Also I haven’t been giving nitrogen too much. It gets it in the cal mag a little. It’s 2-0-0 and last feeding I only gave tiger bloom no grow big. Tiger bloom is 2-8-4.
Your runoff TDS indicates you should be supplementing. I would be running 900 to 1,000 ppm of nutes biased a bit towards using the LKB.
A month ago I didn’t have a pen and I was burning my plants and in lock out. So since then I’ve been giving small doses. Because I don’t want to burn them
That explains the burned tips. Plants appear to be hungry now. You need a P,K heavy diet for the first few weeks of flower. Silica, cal mag, base nutes and LKB to around 1,000 ppm.
@Myfriendis410 I gave her silica last watering. And apparently not enough bloom boost. I didn’t give the tiger bloom last feeding. Which would be the base nutrient. I just gave it the pk booster. I was under the impression you don’t want nitrogen in flower. Also why add pk w the base nutrient if you adding 0-10-10 with the Kool bloom bloom booster. Is t that just toxic and too much at that point?
Also what is lkb?
Liquid Kool bloom. And they still need nitrogen, just in lower amounts.
And that’s your P, K jolt. Silica and cal mag at every watering too. Silica is always added first, followed by cal mag then everything else.
Are you sure those are 2nd week of flower? I don’t see any pistils anywhere. Looks a little like Preflower signs in the one picture. i stopped watering to so much runoff every time and I think it’s been working out better for my plants. I’m using ff of and I just hit day 21 of flower that’s why I’m asking if your sure of what stage your in.
You still need the nitrogen in flower. Just less than phosphorus.
@Shaggy1987 theyre photoperiod plants…
thy wer flipped last thursday. thy are on day 15/16 that would b second week of flower
last plant i flippd with this light i didnt see pistils till end of second week. thats roughhly when they stoppd strtching and the pistils and buds started
Some people count weeks from the light flip, some count from when pistils appear. That’s the difference here.
Usually a 7-10 day difference.
@Shaggy1987
This was the first plant about a week after flipping. Then here it is a week later at the end of week 2 the plant that we were discussing before only went through one week of flower. It is only it’s second day of the second week
