2nd grow journal 11/1/2021 / starts 5/1/22

The Lindt would be good but I believe it needs to be around 70% or 75% cocoa.

If you get a chance read this journal. BTB had some good info in there.

@tt I wouldn’t use any of the wafers or ‘coating’ chocolate’ That Lindt 85% would work much better as long as you temper it.

@TT Its not the end of the world if the chocolate doesnt temper. The only thing about untempered chocolate is that it isnt shelf stable, at all. Its not even hand stable. It will melt sitting out on a plate, in room temperature. In the fridge or freezer though, keep just fine in there. So you can make up your chocolates, put em in the mold and keep it in the fridge till you want to eat it, then eat it. Need to take it somewhere, get a small 6 pack cooler and put some ice in there, good for several hours. I have the worst luck trying to temper chocolate.

That looks like a competitor mold. Whole cake is toast, if you yave others in the same FC they will likely fall victin as well.

The same FC, Fruiting chamber.
Well, disposal depends on your situation. If you have a compost heap, Id put it in there, dont be surprised if it innoculates your compost pile. Because of its illegality, I would often take spent cakes and throw them away in apartment complex trash cans late at night. You can also dig a hole and burry it.

I will tell you, they are near impossible to burn.
